Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You've been spending more money then usual. (Admit it.) Be very careful today that you do not spend it compulsively, obsessively, without restraint. This isn't you! You like to give major purchases a sober, second thought. Whoa Nellie!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Power struggles with partners and close friends are likely today, especially in the late afternoon and evening. You're a clever wordsmith. Why not just rely on your quick wit? You don't have to get verbally heavy-handed about anything. Need I say less?
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Some of you (not all) might be disenchanted with your job or with coworkers. This is not the day to introduce reform and improvements -- even if you're right. They will meet with opposition. (You need this like a fish needs a bicycle.) Keep a low profile today.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Discussions with friends and lovers could become heated in the late afternoon and early evening. Each party is convinced they know what is right for the other person. Compromise is difficult. (Sigh.) It's always darkest before it gets pitch black.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Avoid power struggles with bosses, parents, teachers, authority figures and especially the police today. There is no up side to this. Who wants to argue with Darth Vader? "Not I," quacked the duck. The potential for intense encounters exists but it's brief.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Resist the urge to proselytize your beliefs be they political, philosophical, religious, or just a few hot tips about the track. Others are not in the mood to listen. You will be preaching to deaf ears. (And there are none so deaf as those who are wearing headphones.)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Differences about shared monies or shared possessions could occur late in the day. It's peanuts really; but tempers could flare. Just sidestep this. Don't even go there. It's a brief, pushy moment that you should let fade into the sunset. (You won't regret it.)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
The Moon is opposite your sign today and late in the day it makes an opposition to big Daddy Pluto as well. This means you feel others oppose you. It could get worse. You might even feel attacked by others or they by you. Just refuse to rise to the bait. Avoid arguments.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
If you have strong opinions about health issues, or how to help somebody else, or how to improve things at work, you're best served by saying nothing today. If you open your mouth -- someone will jump down your throat so fast you'll be shocked. Agghh!
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Parents must be patient with children today. They must especially be patient in terms of trying to "improve" young minds. Young minds are really quite delightful in and of themselves. It's old minds that have set ideas. (Oh yeah.) Be cool.

In the late afternoon or early evening, you might be tempted to have a snippy little fight with parents or family members. Jealousy is likely. Emotions are stifled. People are uncomfortable. Why stir this kind of pot? This is merely an opportunity to practice patience and loving kindness. Ya think?
