Perhaps as a reaction to yesterday, perhaps as a reaction to anything, you're suddenly very keen to prove yourself with someone. Don't go overboard trying to do this. If you get too pushy, it only displays your weakness not your strength.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

You're quite adamant in your point of view today. (Let face it, you can be stubborn.) But what's the point of digging your heels in? Does it impress anyone? Does it make you any friends? What you think is important is perhaps not important to someone else.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

This is not the day to go against authority figures, bosses, parents or the police. Just don't do it. People are not reasonable today. They're entrenched in their own points of view. This means they cannot be reasoned out of these views. They won't budge!

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Your state of mind is so driven and focused this is an excellent day to study any kind of subject that requires intense concentration. You'll make great progress! This is the best way by far to use today's energy. (Avoid religious, political discussion.)

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

This is a wonderful day for research. You will ferret out the truth of what you seek -- or else! That's because your mind is unusually determined today. Not only is it sharply focused it also has the ability to grasp the subtext of everything. Ah ha!

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Arguments with close friends and partners are practically unavoidable today. Knowing this -- don't even go there. If you do, it won't be a pretty picture. Avoid disagreements. Your far better option is to use this kind of energy for introspective analysis.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Avoid differences with coworkers today. Don't try to convince others about your ideas for reforming things. Instead, just clean up and make improvements that you know are best. Do whatever you can. Generally a good story (or a better method) just sells itself. The proof is in the pudding.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Parents must be extra patient with children today. Because of your own frame of mind, it's easy to be fault finding. Furthermore, it's too easy to come on too heavy with little people. Remember: they learn by your example not by what you say. So how you act is how they will grow up to be.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Family differences might become nasty today. You might try to force your point of view on others; or others might try to force their point of view on you. (Gulp.) Nobody likes this. It's just outright meddling. Arguments can erupt over practically nothing. Demonstrate grace under pressure.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

You're fixated on something today. You want others to hear what you have to say. But does it really matter? Are you just getting your belly in a rash over nothing? (Quite possibly.) Far better to pick your fights and choose your times. Don't take the bait.

Be careful shopping today. Compulsive feelings could take hold of you, and you'll buy something whether you want it or not. It's as if you "have to" have it. When you wake up later from this feeling, you might wonder why you own five new cell phones. What?
