Aries (March 21-April 19)
This is a loosey-goosey day. Don't try to do too much. Just sit up and take nourishment. (Do you need another pillow?) It's not a good day to shop. You can't make important decisions. You're surviving yesterday. Just take it easy and be glad you're alive.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
It's totally normal to have feelings of escapism today. I can barely sit still to write this column. Take it easy but try to indulge your need to explore the world more. Do something different. Go someplace you've never been to before. Talk to the animals.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
This is not a bad day to putter around home or do a few things to organize yourself. If you have items that need to be returned to others, put them in the car or by your door. That way they're a little bit closer to moving on. This is a good day to read a book or catch a movie.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You might be involved with partners and others today. This is likely because the Moon still opposes your sign. Nevertheless, avoid important decisions. Just coast. Don't demand anything from yourself; don't demand things from others either.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This is the kind of day where aimless puttering might actually achieve something. You do a little laundry, you do a little dusting, you buy some groceries, you check the mail, you do the crossword, you go out for coffee, perhaps order out for dinner.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
This is actually a very good day for artists to create something or finish an ongoing project. The lid is off. You feel like a helium balloon floating free in the sky. There's an aimless quality to today. It's also a great day for a nap.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
This is the perfect day to hide at home. Stay in your robe as long as you can. Putter round where you live tweaking things or making everything look better. Some of you might want to go back to bed. Make few demands on yourself today.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
This is a creative day for writers, perhaps all artists. It's a very bad day to sign contracts, shop, or make important decisions. Just toss ideas around. Conversations with others are friendly. Because it's easy to be distracted, this could be an accident-prone day.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Definitely do not go shopping today for anything other than food. Your whole financial sense of things is off. No, don't get that purple ostrich boa. Yes, it's cool, but wait a day. Just enjoy chatting to others. Don't sign contracts. Take it easy as much possible.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
The Moon is in your sign today but it is not making an aspect to anything! That means you feel willy-nilly. This is not the frame of mind to be in to shop or the important decisions. Don't make promises or commitments to others. Just do the laundry.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Keep a low profile today. Do the crossword in this paper. Have a second cup of coffee. Call up some friends and commiserate about the state of the world. Discuss global warming and the price of gasoline. Surf the Web but don't buy anything.

This is a pretty good day to enjoy friends and chat with acquaintances. Keep it light. Plug-in to the grapevine. Or you might just want to stay at home and e-mail everyone. It's a good day to hide and daydream about future possibilities.
