Unexpected events occur with foreign countries and travel today. Travel plans are interrupted or canceled. You might meet unusual people from different cultures. Matters connected with publishing, the media, higher education and the law are subject to surprises and cancellations.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Something unexpected about shared possessions or jointly held property might happen today. You won't like the terms somebody else is trying to dictate to you. "What am I? Chopped liver?" Alternatively, you might break something that somebody else owns or lose it or vice versa. (Ouch.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Conversations with partners and close friends are explosive. One of you feels very independent! (It's not nice to fool Mother Nature.) That's the tone of your day. Be gentle with others. People can easily explode in your face, which is always so tedious, isn't it?
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Power outages, computer crashes, staff shortages, broken equipment, something interrupts your workday. Coworkers are also explosive. Since you know ahead of time that people are touchy -- tread carefully. Keep dark chocolate at the ready.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Love at first sight is possible today. (Eyes across a crowded room and all that.) Anything can happen with romance. New, creative ideas strike you out of the blue. Meanwhile, parents must be vigilant. This is an accident prone day for children. (This includes creating them, if you get my drift.)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Expect disruptions at home or within your family today. Get out your tinfoil hat. You might hear the lightning before it strikes. Appliances can break down. Arguments between family members are likely. Unexpected guests drop in. Drink something to calm your harried nerves. Seconds?
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Arguments easily explode today. But they don't have to. You have the power of choice in how you respond to others. Interruptions are inevitable. This is an accident prone day so be careful driving, walking, jogging -- anything. You can have verbal accidents as well. ("I'm innocent!")
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Although it's technically okay to shop for most of today, impulse purchases could get you in trouble. Be careful. Something that you don't expect will affect your cash flow. You might find money; and you might lose money. You might get fired. Think twice before you quit your day job. It's a crapshoot.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Absolutely anything can happen today. You can feel it. For starters, you feel very independent -- even rebellious. You don't want anyone telling you what to do. Freedom has always been a big deal for you. (And that's okay.) Don't tempt the fiery dragon. Carry your Arthurian shield at all times. "Who goes there?"
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You feel restless today. In turn, this can make you easily irritated. Nevertheless, consider this an opportunity to practice patience. There's no point in blowing up at others. Then they hate you. That's no fun. And it's no fun hating somebody else either. Buy yourself a treat.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
A friend will definitely surprise you today. If this doesn't happen, then you'll meet somebody (a real bazaar character) who does surprise you. Relations with groups, clubs, conferences and organizations are also highly suspect. Nothing turns out the way you think it will. (This might be a good thing.)
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Bosses are touchy today. Ditto for parents, teachers, the police and any authority figure in your life. Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition! Someone could do something that feels like the last straw. (Just put it in that little box where you keep all your last straws.)
