Be careful gambling today. It's real easy to kid yourself. (Isn't that a component of gambling?) You can also kid yourself about romantic matters as well. (Aaaggh. Take the harpoon out slowly.) It's small stuff, but it's still your basic, no-frills self-deception. (Not this again!)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Don't be pushy with bosses, parents or authority figures today. Something is slightly out of focus. You might climb out on a limb before you actually see that what you're reaching for is an illusion. Rats! (I hate it when that happens.) Whatchagonnado? (Sopranos riff here.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Be careful negotiating, wheeling and dealing or even buying and selling. Basically, it's an okay day. However, at some point in the middle of the day, you'll have Vaseline on your lens. Don't let wishful thinking "make it so." Better to deal with the facts, ma'am. Just the facts.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You might be tempted to blow some serious coin on something luxurious or extravagant. Don't do it. Not today. It's too easy to talk yourself into something that you don't need. Fuzzy Neptune creeps into the picture like a seductive siren. This is not how you want to part with your hard-earned cash.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Relationships are so confusing. But then, you're such a romantic! Hey - life is tough and then you die. What's romantic about that? Whoa Nellie! I'm just kidding. Get out those tap dancing shoes. You're right. This is all a movie, and you're the writer, director and star. "Action everyone!"
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Do not listen to that little voice on your shoulder that says, "Who do you think you are?" Niggling, little moments of self-doubt are paralyzing! You need this like you need another hole in your head. Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain. It's just a passing insecurity.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Friends might confuse you today. Or you might confuse a friend. Conversations with others are circular, obtuse, puzzling, bewildering and faaaintly frustrating. (Now if they were really frustrating, then you'd have something you could really kvetch about! But faintly? Pah!)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
It's not a bad day. But at some point, authority figures, parents, teachers or bosses get your goat. Instructions are wishy-washy or contradictory. People don't know what they want yet they expect you to please them. And does the rain in Spain mainly fall in the plain? Who knows?
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
If wishes were horses then beggars would ride. Remember that one? Make sure that your hopeful optimism about something doesn't cloud you from the real facts of the matter. This could happen with something related to foreign countries, travel, publishing and the media.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
This is not an ideal day to do major money deals. This includes any lunch over $25. There's too much wishful thinking going on. And lots of self-deception. Put those two together and they spell Big Visa Bill. Oh yeah. I know whereof I speak. ("What are the appetizers today?")
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Serious relationships have been a bit of a grind lately. (I mean, let's tell it like it is.) Don't agree to anything important today. There's an element of confusion that will only confuse a confused situation further. Since things are confusing enough -- why confuse them anymore?
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Make sure instructions from coworkers are clear. Furthermore, make sure that others understand what you're saying. Be careful about trying to anticipate what someone wants today. You could be completely wrong. Red-faced and wrong. Feel your way gently. Gently.
