Aries (March 21-April 19)
Today you might want to tone down your energy a bit. You've been gangbusters all week: lucky, optimistic, focused, and energetic. Today however, in a very mild way, you hit the wall. It's no big deal. But don't throw your weight around with the boss or stuff like that.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Don't push the river today. You can still get a lot done. The Moon is in Capricorn and that's your fellow Earth sign. Nevertheless, wait to see which direction the wind blows. Some mild surprises are out there; and nothing is for sure. But keep puttering.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
You're a bit concerned about someone's earnings or how to share something. You feel you have to stay on top of things to take sure it all goes down fairly and squarely. You also feel responsible for doing the job right. Interruptions with technology are likely.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
This isn't the ideal day to talk to bosses and parents about what you want. Best to bide your time. People aren't receptive to things today. They're cautious, and pessimism is rampant. Whether your glass is half-full or half-empty, you still have to stand there holding it.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
The best way to use today's energy is to work. Just get as much done as you can. Don't make unreasonable demands of yourself; but on the other hand (you have different fingers) keep plugging along. Expect your routine to vary earlier in the day. Technological interruptions?
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
This is a good day for stuff related to show business, professional sports, the entertainment world, educating children, resorts, theme parks, golf courses, and even romantic liaisons. That just about covers everything except the kitchen sink. (Don't tell me that's plugged again.)
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Pay some attention to the duties and obligations you've been ignoring at home. (We all do this. How else can one survive in this world?) Make a list and prioritize what you should do to get on with things. At least do some of them. Three? Two? Well, one is better than nothing.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
You're inclined to worry a bit today. The thing about worry is it's just a habit. But any habit is hard to shake; we all know that. When I was 13, I put a sign on the back of my bedroom door: "Worry is like rocking chair. It gives you something to do but gets you nowhere." Profound, eh?
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
So you were a big spender all week and now you're worried about money. It happens every time. Now comes the guilts, the should-ovs, the would-ovs, the could-ovs -- that second guessing impulse that's a waste of energy. It's just recess time. Hold on to your money.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You might feel strongly about issues with family members today -- especially Mom or Dad. If you feel emotional, this is not the time to further your own agenda. You need more detachment and objectivity to be effective in your presentation. Hold the phone. Just watch TV.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You might have feelings of self-doubt today. Everyone gets these. A gallery owner once told me that the way to tell a professional from an amateur was that the professional throws away her best work. Treat this as a mellow day. Don't try to script it too much.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Discussions with a friend are serious and possibly obligatory. (This doesn't sound like fun.) But we all have feelings of obligation to others. It's just the way society works. Therefore, write your bread-and-butter letters today. Help others where they need and expect it.
