Aries (March 21-April 19)
Avoid arguments about politics, religion, or philosophical matters. (You know how you love to debate; and you know how you love to win an argument.) But today, it's all about ego. Me, me, me. Don't get suckered into trying to have the last word about something.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Avoid financial disagreements today. This is not a good day to collect debts or debate differences in values. It will just be a contest of wills. Speaking of which, that's the very thing it might also be -- contested wills. Quit trying to prove anything. You will only arouse opposition.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Power struggles with partners and close friends are extremely likely today. Since it takes two to make a fight, nothing will happen if you step aside. No one is more verbally adroit than you. Why waste your breath? Don't try to "improve" anyone. And don't let anyone do this to you.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
This is the kind of day were somebody could press your buttons. Even if you're wearing zippers, you still have buttons. We all do. Your greatest strength is your tenacity and stick-to-itiveness. Never forget this. Vini Vidi Velcro: we came, we saw, we stuck around.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Clashes with friends or groups over practically anything are likely today. Even though you think that the issue at hand is important, more likely it's an ego struggle. This can be fatal. Ego is all. Try to rise above this. (You don't do petty.) Think about your long-term objective.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Parents, teachers and bosses might be overwhelming today. Try to sidestep whatever you can. Keep out of their way. And above all, resist the urge to send back a snappy retort. (You'll regret it.) There's a do or die attitude out there today. Don't get in the way of it. (Survival!)
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
This is the classic day for intense arguments about religious, political, metaphysical and philosophical ideas. Actually, some of the great ideas were those of Thomas Kuhn. His paradigm for life was live and let live. (We're all prisoners of our own experiences.) Who knows what is?
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Today the Sun opposes Pluto. Everyone is a bit extreme, compulsive and obsessive. (Sound familiar?) Remember to look through both ends of the telescope if you're at Loggerheads with someone about possessions, shared property and different values. There are always at least two points of view.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Power struggles with partners or close friends are unavoidable today. But I lie. Of course, they're avoidable if you refuse to become embroiled in any kind of argument about anything. Be like Sixteen Tons and learn to "step aside." ("... a lot of men didn't and the lot of men died.")
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You might have to encounter people at work today who really think they know how to fix a situation. (Boring, I know.) You might see that they're completely out to lunch. Nevertheless, refrain from pointing this out. (Not good.) You know the quickest way to shut anybody up is to agree with them.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
This could be a rocky day for romance. Oh well, forget true love. The road of true anything isn't smooth. That's life. Don't power trip with lovers. No guilt tripping either. Parents should be gentle with children. It's far too easy to be critical and dictatorial today.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Don't get your belly in a rash over family matters today. When the annals of history are written, all this will be small potatoes. Be gentle with family members. Don't react to criticism; and refrain from dishing out any yourself.
