Moon Alert

After 6:30 a.m. EDT, we have the All Clear to shop or make important decisions today.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Today Mercury officially goes retrograde, but we've been feeling its effects for almost 2 weeks. Delays and confusion at work and with your possessions and how you spend money have been challenging. This will continue! Don't count your chickens before they're barbecued.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

You're right in the middle of dealing with ex-partners and old friends. They're practically camping on your doorstep. You might not be too pleased about this. Then again, you might like the attention. Who knows? Be careful if their hands are outstretched.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Ignore feelings of self-doubt. Instead, go with a newfound confidence that is also there. (You have a choice: Door number One or Door number Two.) To really do anything you've got to believe in at least one of your selves. (Assuming you're both on speaking terms.)

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

It's important that you devote time to a friend now. You can't escape your past. You don't even want to! (If there's one sign that drags their past with them everywhere - it's you. Childhood toys, family photographs -- the works.) Actually, it's good to have history with others.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

You might do something that you did before -- to yet once again -- thrust you into the limelight. "One-a-more time!" Does this ring any bells, Pavlov? Expect to talk to old bosses. In fact, opportunities from places you worked at before could arise. There's a very strong tape loop going here.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

For several weeks now confusion in communications and delays in transportation have started to increase. Today it's official! Mercury is retrograde. Since Mercury's your ruler, you feel this more than other signs. You can catch up on medical and legal matters. Just wade in.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Matters with shared property, inheritances, debt, taxes and loans can really get wrapped up once and for all now. With a big red bow. Remember that contentment is the key to happiness. Liking what you have is where it's at. (This does not apply to rusted out cars.)

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Even if you try to avoid them, you'll bump into ex-partners now. Naturally, you can fake cool. (But you're scary when you do it.) It's important to defend your own turf. You have a right to your own little piece of Terra Nova.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

It's a good thing you're in the mood for romance, parties and fun -- because work is quite frustrating now. That's where all the delays and hassles are originating. Mind you, a few of you are running into old things and that is kind of mind blowing too. C'est la vie.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is clearly the perfect time to wrap up old family business. It's also a good time to take care of old needed repairs at home. Those of you who are into genealogy can really make tracks now. In other words, turn your attention to everything from the past in your domestic sphere.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

All forms of transportation and communication are in mild jeopardy for your sign. If you don't pay your bill -- your phone will be cut off. If there's something dicey with your car -- expect that flat tire or failed alternator. (I studied mechanics. I know about crooked steering wheels.)

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

It's important to be extra clear in all your communications now especially those regarding financial matters and big business. Do not make assumptions. Make people watch your lips and repeat what you say back to you.

If Your Birthday Is Today

Actor Paul Rudd (1969) shares your birthday. You're bright, original and sometimes obsessed with things. You have a wonderful imagination. You also have a strong pioneering impulse that leads you to all kinds of experimentation. Personally, you are honest; you will quest for the truth. Expect increased solitude in order to learn something important this year.
