Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Today is an excellent time to retire by yourself to think about life. You need to contemplate your future. After all, you're going have to spend the rest of your life there. Franklin was right: Time is the stuff life is made up. So what are you going to do with your time?

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

You feel surprisingly selfless in your dealings with others today. You're not particularly competitive or ego oriented. Because of this, you will probably help somebody. You're not trying to be a hero; it just seems to be the thing to do. (Good knee-jerk reaction to cultivate.)

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

You might be in a position to use your influence to help those who are less fortunate. You might fundraise, give generously to someone, or lend time and assistance to others. Always act on an opportunity to perform a kindness. Ironically, they don't come along as often as you might think.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

You might work in conjunction with someone (a partner, close friend or the general public) to help others who are far away. Your altruism and compassion are aroused. You want to alleviate the suffering of others. If you're reading this column, you're probably in a position to do so.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
