Today your glass is half empty. That's okay -- we all have days like this. In conversations with authority figures, someone might feel critical about you. Possibly, you feel critical about someone else. Either way -- there's a lot of criticism flying around.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

This is definitely a day for serious thinking and important concerns. You're prepared to do your homework about anything that interests you. You feel a bit sober and reflective. You're probably making lists of things you should do. Don't worry. Virgos are making lists of lists.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

You're definitely not going to throw your money around today. You probably feel broke, penniless and grateful for a glass of water and a crust of bread. (Bottled water of course, and isn't that a bit of baguette?) You're concerned that resources you counted on might not be available.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

You feel a bit reserved talking to others today. Frankly, you would rather be alone. Conversations that do take place seem to involve lots of moaning and groaning about the state of the world. You're taking a very serious view about things today. You want to clean things up.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

You're in the mood to roll up your sleeves and get better organized. You might not work all day doing this, but you will definitely make a decent dent in some project. Furthermore, whatever you do today will be done carefully and thoroughly. (Mom would be proud.)

You're so optimistic and positive thinking that you can be inclined to overestimate situations -- especially financial ones. (Like how much money you need to do something wonderful. And how quickly you can raise it.) Today, the harsh note of reality arrives. (Bummer.)

Conversations with close friends and partners are a bit stifled and formal today. That's because you want to deal with practical matters. You also want to get a lot done today. It's a good day to seek counsel from someone older and more experienced.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

In some ways this is not a particularly cheery day. However, it's a great day to work and get things done. You're even prepared to tackle little nightmare tasks that you've been avoiding for ages. You'll work steadily, slowly and carefully at something.
