Aries (March 21-April 19)
You have to accept the fact that more patience than usual is needed at work now. Mercury retrograde hits this part of your chart. Whatchyagonnado? Allow extra time for everything. Double-check your work. Remember to be polite with your boss.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Some wonderful planets now promote vacations, romance, fun and entertaining times. However, Mercury retrograde also forces you to deal with old business regarding children, and possibly even plans for relaxing escapes. Expect some glitches here. Enjoy yourself but keep your eyes open.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Mercury retrograde especially affects your sign (as well as Virgo) more than others because Mercury is your ruler. It happens three times a year and generally lasts for four to five weeks. This time it impacts your domestic scene, your family relations and real estate deals. Be patient with relatives and family members.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Because Mercury naturally rules ground transportation and all forms of communication, these are the areas that suffer delays and errors. This particular Mercury retrograde is giving you a double whammy in these matters. Pay your phone bill. Check your car. Tiny headaches lurk everywhere.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
There is more to a Mercury retrograde period than delays, messy situations, mix-ups and confusion. (Although there is definitely that!) Fortunately, finishing up old business goes quite quickly during Mercury retrograde. Tackle old financial matters. Do it now. (What a relief.)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
This Mercury retrograde is in your sign, so you really feel it. You might have to deal with ex partners and previous clients. Perhaps you have to focus on old business. You will certainly notice that your everyday actions are dogged by errors, slipups and poor communications. Aaggh.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Mercury retrograde has different affects on different people. Sometimes everything goes wrong with ground transportation. Other times your phone is cut off. At yet other times, you're waiting at the wrong restaurant to meet someone. This one triggers self-doubt. Courage.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Expect to run into old faces, friends you haven't seen for a while, or people you were involved with in organizations and clubs. This can be good or not so good. It's just a Dijon vu moment. (That's where the smell of mustard brings back childhood memories of hot dogs outdoors.)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
It behooves you to make an extra effort to double-check details and everything connected with your career and your good name in the public. This Mercury retrograde occurs in a rather public part of your chart. That means your glitches will be noticed! (Flat tire in rush hour?)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Like everyone else, your everyday tasks will suffer now in terms of efficiency. However, consider this Mercury retrograde period an excellent opportunity to rehash political matters, religious conversations, problems with education and anything connected with publishing or the media.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
By nature, Mercury retrograde slows down efficiency and creates increased confusion in communications and logistics. You'll notice this with debt, inheritances, estates, and shared property. Hopefully, you can finish up stuff here. The next few weeks are a great opportunity to wrap things up.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Lots of comedy and sitcoms focus on the ex partner or ex spouse syndrome. It might make for laughs but it can also be stressful and painful. (I actually lived with that person? I can't believe it.) All you can do is demonstrate grace under pressure.
