Today you're concerned with parents and family. Who will take care of you in your old age? What will your aging years be like? You have a deep practical concern for your long-term welfare. In the meantime, throw out everything from your fridge that is waving back at you.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You feel more serious and restrained in all your relations with others today -- especially siblings and relatives. You want boundaries established about things. You want to be clear about what others expect from you. New friendships are rather sober but they will be long-lived.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
You don't feel too much like spending money today. Yesterday's impulse for self-indulgence is suddenly gone. You are more concerned now with bills and financial obligations. Look at how much money is gone and how much month is left! Oy vay. Always a sobering realization.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You feel restrained in expressing yourself to others today. You might have to say goodbye to a loved one or an acquaintance at this time. Some of you might feel a bit lonely or cut off. If so -- you should know this is just a dark cloud on your horizon that is gone tomorrow.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Today is certainly not about self-indulgence. Quite the opposite. You have a bit of the hair shirt mentality right now: no pain, no gain. That's okay because you will make progress in whatever you are pursuing through this bit of self-discipline. Tomorrow is much easier.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Someone older, perhaps a mentor or someone more experienced than you can offer you excellent advice today. You might be wise to consider it. On the other hand, not everyone older or more experienced than you is particularly worth listening to. Be discriminating.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You might encounter a wise teacher today or someone who has something serious to impart to you. You might also face increased responsibilities with a parent. Either way, there is serious, sober quality to your activities today. This makes you feel a bit restrained.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Your bright ideas about travel, dealing with foreign countries or exploring opportunities with publishing and higher education could fall flat today. The restrictions and obligations that they entail might deter you now. Actually, this is just a temporary setback. (One hopes.)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Whatever you expected from your partner or from another source could suddenly look meager today. (What am I, chopped liver?) Don't be too disappointed because all of this passes quickly. (Especially if you drink a lot of water.) It's time to economize a bit.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Someone might rain on your parade today. An umbrella won't help. People are quick to raise objections or reasons why you cannot do something. Think of all the wild and crazy inventors and discoverers who had to face this kind of thing too. Pay little heed to these naysayers.

Some days at work are fun, flirtatious, frivolous and somebody even buys you lunch. This is not one of those days. Lower your expectations. People are going by the book today. It's probably best for you to keep a low profile. Just keep doing the corporate shuffle. (One step forward, two steps back.)

Love and romance might be a downer today. It doesn't have to be if you lower your expectations. This is the kinda day where people find it hard to be hopeful. Their glass is half empty. You don't have to fill it up, either. Just coast. Tomorrow is a much better day. (I kid you not.)
