It's hard to give yourself permission to do something today. You feel held back by guilt, rules, obligations or just plain old worries. (Gnash, gnash.) You see now that it is true: Argue for your limitations and they're yours. (Avoid arguments with older people.)

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Older or more experienced friends might lecture you about money, thrift or how you earn your cash. Someone could be a killjoy by trying to convince you that you can't earn more than you already are. Forget this stuff. By tomorrow it passes completely. (Especially if you drink loys of water.)

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

This is not a good day to talk to authority figures. For starters, you're personally impatient with restrictions. In turn, somebody is heavy-handed or critical with you. Bad combo. But you could be projecting onto them. You might be the one who is really holding yourself back.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Somehow you feel discouraged about the world situation in general today. You feel helpless. What can a little guy do? The truth is -- all the problems of the world are caused by little guys. Little guys can do a lot! They can be part of the solution or part of the problem.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Suddenly, you feel broke. You haven't the resources you expected to do something. Debt, taxes, insurance matters, whatever -- makes you feel burdened and restricted. This feeling will pass. (It's more about your attitude than what you have in the bank.)

You feel discouraged today because your own conception of yourself is weakend somehow. Somebody definitely is raining on your parade. But remember that you are your own worst critic. (It's because you have such high standards for yourself.) Forget about the expectations of others.

Bosses, supervisors and the like or a bit of a drag today. People are throwing their weight around. Everybody's going by the book. If you want to do something -- just do it. (At times like this it's easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission. Know what I mean?)

We primarily manage other people how we were parented. If your parents were strict, that's the kind of manager or parent you might be. Certainly there are exceptions -- but very few. Don't be critical with young people today. And don't be critical of your own creative talent.

You feel bound or held down by family responsibilities or something like that today. And you resent it. Others interfere with your plans and your hopes and dreams for the future. Actually, you do make your own choices. Maybe you just want to break free from your vicious circle?

No matter what you try to do at work today, you feel thwarted by others. Do not let fear and feelings of insecurity hold you back. Think about how to look for a solution. Look beyond!

You feel you have to pull your reins in a little about spending money for fun times. That 50 inch TV has to wait. (A projection system! Oy vay.) That's definitely on hold. Fortunately, everything that holds you back disappears in a day. (Start rearranging furniture.)

You're trying to balance your own need for self gratification and your sense of duty or responsibility to others. How much do you owe to them? How much do you owe to yourself? Tricky. And don't fall into martyr mode either. (You do that one.)
