Hi Georgia,

I must say, after seeing you on the morning interview show from Vancouver and subscribing to your newsletter, I am very impressed with your site. I especially enjoy Desiderata (which I try to read to myself every day) and the story of two wolves.

When you mentioned in your weekly report that two planets have been at work which may have explained some of what happened in Haiti, you do not say which two planets. With my amateur interest in astrology I would have to say Mars and Uranus??

I have enjoyed astrology, as a limited hobby, for over 20 years now and want to know if you ever come through cities and perform workshops or events where you talk about the coming year, etc. The Vancouver morning show interview was much too short. Forgive me for not remembering the name of it as I try and catch it whenever I can. Menopause is very real!

Thanks so much. B.

Dear B.

Thanks for your sweet note. How lovely that you read the Desiderata every day. - hmmm you have inspired me to do the same! That is such a good thing to do - to "set' your day.

The two planets in question are Saturn and Pluto. They jockeyed into position in November, and continued their dance until February. Then they clash one more time in August of this year.

Both Saturn and Pluto deal with structures both tangible, as well as organizational structures in society, particularly governments and law courts.

Because Pluto has not been in Capricorn (also the sign of the government) since the mid t 1700s (think the Battle of the Plains of Abraham in Canada (1759) and the Declaration of Independence in 1776 for the US, and Bastille Day in 1789 in France) this is obviously a time of shake up to many world governments.

Pluto tears things down to make them better. Like when you renovate a house, and you tear it down until you get rid of the problem -- and then you start to rebuild. There is definitely an element of this at play.

The planets are odds with each other for months, but the actual mathematical squares (the three peak times) all take place in the early degrees of Capricorn and Cancer. Therefore, anyone with planets or significant points in their chart in the early degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn will undergo some big changes in their lives. (Those four signs are like 12 o'clock, 6 o'clock, 3 o'clock, 9 o'clock.)

In my own case, I am zero degrees Libra Rising with Moon in Cancer at 4 degrees. I am definitely waiting for the other shoe to drop! But what will it be? Sexy, strappy sandal or a big gum boot? I hope it's pretty and in my size!

I am not giving workshops because I am writing a book that is coming out in October of this year.

Stay tuned!

Love
Georgia
