Scorpio Forecast for 2015

The Year 2015

Since 2012, difficult planetary aspects between Pluto and Uranus have created unpredictable, catastrophic events affecting countries, weather systems, aviation, accidents and political protests. There are seven times during the interval from 2012 until March 2015 that these occur. But after March, these untoward events will subside. Of course, life will always have unpredictable events and tragedy; but there will be a noticeable lessening of these threats.

Furthermore, once Jupiter enters Virgo in August, the economy and general well-being of both Canada and the United States will improve. Specifically, legislation regarding health-related issues as well as the environment will be encouraging.

Meanwhile, this year, the planet Saturn will be in Sagittarius and remain there for the next two years. The last time Saturn was in Sagittarius was from 1986-1988, and before that in 1927-1929. Saturn rules the law courts and the legal infrastructure of society; and Sagittarius is concerned with the laws that govern higher education, publishing, the media, medicine and how we deal with foreign countries.

This planetary combination will result in legislation about education, immigration, the media (including the Internet), medicine and law enforcement. Sagittarius aspires to ideals in truth, freedom, open-mindedness, spirituality and education, which means a new kind of idealism will permeate legal decisions.

Meanwhile, the three Mercury retrogrades that occur this year will all take place in Air signs, and Air signs are intellectual. This is a further indication of innovative breakthroughs and inventions, particularly in electronics, computers and the high-tech industry.

Ultimately, there will be more stable economic growth especially after August for both Canada and the United States.

I don't believe in a Pollyanna way that we are always progressing to bigger and better things. But this year will see a lessening of difficult situations and a strong encouragement and progress in laws that better society.

Jupiter in Virgo will help to restore Canada's reputation, which has suffered globally in terms of freedom of expression and our overall "nice guy" image. I think we will once again regain much of the respect we have lost not only in the eyes of other countries, but in the individual self-respect of Canadians.

Although the beginning of this year will be tumultuous, and things will, yet again, be stalled in the water from June to September; after that, there will be welcome improvements that will affect millions of people. This year hope is justified!

We All Have a Past

Your 2015 annual forecast begins with a nod to the past to demonstrate how accurate or not it is. If what I say about your past resonates with you, then you can trust what I say about your future.

In the mid-90s, your earnings improved, but you were still unsure about what you really wanted to do. However, increased responsibilities with children were a reality. By 1997, you improved where you lived, or perhaps bought or sold real estate. And yes, you were still working hard. Vacations, new romance and fun-filled activities lifted your spirits in 1998. Your creative vibes were hot then! By the turn of the millennium, partnerships were strained. Those that had outlived their usefulness ended at that time. One of the reasons was this: From 1984 to 1999 was a time of huge personal development for you, and by 1999, you were ready to push on to bigger things. This new-found confidence upset the balance of existing relationships, which is why some partnerships ended at that time. Yet, ironically, that is also when new partnerships began for many of you, because Jupiter was travelling through your House of Marriage. Go figure! You win some, you lose some.

Very soon, in 2001, you benefited from the wealth and resources of others. (A little gravy for the meat and potatoes.) Ambitious travel plans in 2002 were rewarding, and by 2003, many of you enjoyed a fabulous boost to your career and reputation. Nevertheless, it was not until 2006, that your career hit its stride and you entered your time of harvest. Now the seeds you had planted since 1992 flourished. Something happened to make you proud. The details varied according to how old you were, and what stage of your life you were in. For some, it was a time of graduation, or marriage or a first child, or a cherished dream come true. For others, it was an opportunity to become self-employed and strike out on their own. ("I'm free!") While yet others, received kudos, accolades, awards and promotions for their talents.

As a result, your earnings improved in 2007, even though your responsibilities continued to be heavy. The year 2009 was excellent for real-estate opportunities. Some bought and sold real estate; others improved where they lived or found bigger and better digs. Whatever happened, you felt richer, more affluent and more comfortable at home. Some of you also expanded your home at that time through marriage, birth or adoption.

Although 2010 was a great year for vacations, fun-filled creativity and good times, it was also when you entered a two and a half year window of downsizing and streamlining your life. Between 2010 and 2012, you gave up many things - people, places, friendships, partnerships, jobs and possessions. Unlike some signs, who have trouble letting go, you easily divest yourself of whatever is extraneous and no longer relevant in your life. In fact, once you decide something is baggage you purge it from your life! You know that giving up is not loss; it is lightening your load. Yeah, freedom!

Since 2013, you have been experiencing a similar cycle that began in 1984, which was a journey of redefining you really are. (Each of us does this at least twice in our lifetime.) Fortunately, this time the wealth and resources of others has benefited you. You might have received an inheritance, money and gifts from others or perhaps you benefited indirectly through your partner.

Last year you travelled more. Many of you explored faraway places, and had experiences that broadened your world. Others took advantage of opportunities in publishing, the media, medicine and the law. Excellent opportunities in higher education also existed last year, and some of you went back to school. You began to have a sense that you were taking the first steps in a new direction.

Money and Career

The year 2015 will be a dramatic shift for you, because you are entering a two to three-year window where your primary focus will on finances, cash flow and your job. Subtle forces are at work, because in 2013, you set off on a journey of reinvention. This journey will last about seven years. This year you enter the second phase of the journey. The thrust of this phase is that you must learn what is truly important to you. Often when we think about what we value, we think about money and possessions. We think less about spiritual, moral or psychological values. Is this the case? Certainly, if your focus on money and possessions keeps you from being in touch with deeper, more meaningful values, you might experience some financial loss. What is more likely is that something will happen that makes you feel less financially secure. Ironically, this might have nothing to do with what is actually happening to your finances and assets. It is simply your point of view.

Please remember, at this stage in your life, you are dealing with establishing your values and what is really important to you. For example, how would you answer the question, "What or who would you miss the most if they were not here?" A sobering question indeed, but one that provokes self-inquiry.

At another level, you will come to grips with the bottom line of making what you own work for you. Or to put it another way, you need to find out how to work with what you've got, and make the best use of what you have. This is one manifestation of how 2015 will unfold for you. Naturally, your possessions reflect your values. In the coming year, you will strive as never before to gain better control over what you own. You want to feel that what you own is working for you and making your life easier, and not the other way around. Now is the time to go through what you own and high-grade it. Get rid of what you no longer use. Give it away, recycle it, sell it or turf it. Streamline your world so that you feel less overwhelmed by your belongings. You will love the quiet comfort of order, control and stability that comes with a well-run scene.

The good news is your career will really take off in wonderful ways this year, because lucky, moneybags Jupiter is at the top of your chart for the first time in 12 years. (Yay, me!) This favourable influence will make you work to get ahead in your career. You will feel like a winner! Work-related travel will materialize or increase. Dealings with foreign countries and people from other cultures will also increase. Many of you will get a promotion at work or public recognition for your efforts. In turn, others will have an opportunity to make a career change, perhaps to a field that involves healing, medicine, the law, higher education or travel. If this is the case, a promotion will be less likely.

There is always a social aspect to the planet Jupiter, which means that working with others will be a strong, favourable factor for you in 2015. Your interaction with others, especially with groups, will help you. You might speak to groups or start groups or join groups. Whatever the case, be aware that groups and your interaction with others will benefit you.

Let's look more closely at 2015 on a monthly basis. January is a busy month. Your reputation will shine, and because of this, you will take short trips and be busy talking to everyone. This is a good month for those of you in sales and marketing, writing, proofing and editing or teaching and acting. February is a strong month to explore real-estate opportunities for both your personal use and for investments. In fact, February and March are excellent months for financial speculation. In particular, March favours the entertainment world, the hospitality industry, and anything to do with sports or working with children.

In April, you make great strides, because now you're gung ho to work hard. You have lots of energy to work, and in turn, all this industry will make you look great in the eyes of others. That is why this is a time when many of you will get promotions and accolades. (Bravo!) In May, your focus on professional partnerships and dealing with the general public will be productive. In fact, May and June are excellent times to raise funds, get a loan or benefit from the wealth and resources of others.

July is a month that brings work-related travel. It's also an excellent time to pursue opportunities in publishing, the media, medicine and anything related to healing. Matters pertaining to the law or higher education will also flourish. Push any advantages in these areas at that time. For example, if you are writing a book, this is a good time to pitch to a publisher.

August will be one of the strongest months of the year for you, because now the Sun, Mercury and Venus will join lucky Jupiter at the top of your chart. This makes you shine in the eyes of others. Now is the time to put your name up in lights! You won't have to do anything special to impress people. If you are approached to give a talk, make a proposal or do something extra, accept the challenge. You won't have to be an action hero to impress others. It will just happen magically. Call it Scorpio fairy dust.

You look fabulous in September, which is one of the reasons you will enjoy an increased popularity and love schmoozing with everyone. This is an excellent time to attend conferences, conventions and explore working partnerships. Do note that competition with someone in the month of October might be strong. It could even lead to conflicts for some of you. This could be why you might choose to work behind the scenes or hide in the wings this month.

Tada! In November, you are out in full force, flying your colours. The Sun is in your sign and this is your birthday month. When this occurs, you easily attract powerful people and fortunate circumstances to you. Go after what you want! Demand the advantage. You are powerful and charismatic now. In December, your focus turns to cash flow, earnings and managing your money, as well as spending it. Trust your moneymaking ideas at the end of the year.

Relationships and Romance

This is an excellent year for relationships for you, the simple reason being that lucky moneybags Jupiter at the top of your chart makes you look fabulous to everyone! Obviously, if everyone is impressed with you this improves all your relationships. To put it another way, you will look confident, successful and sexy. And you won't have to do anything special to promote this alluring illusion. (Would that it were always so easy!) The last time it was this easy to make a glamorous impression on others was in 2003; however, that was also in another life, if you will. Since 2013, you started to reinvent the new you, remember?

Furthermore by August, Jupiter will shift into Virgo, which is a sign that works well with you. From that point on, life will flow more easily. You will be able to pull off things and go in the direction you want with very little effort. In fact, relations with important people will become even more beneficial to you, and as you grow in confidence with their input and influence, you too will start to think "really big"!

You will also find that it is easier to be patient with others this year, especially from August onward. You will show others largess, tolerance and kindness.

January will be a very social month, especially with siblings, neighbours and relatives. In February, despite your focus on family, fun vacations and flirtations will lift your spirits! At that time, Venus, Mars and Neptune will all be in a part of your chart that rules romance and love affairs. New love might begin then; and certainly, existing relationships will be affectionate and sweet. And sexy! Your desire for fun, games, vacations and flirtations continues in March. This is a great month to go on a vacation, or slip away for a fun getaway.

In April, Venus will be opposite your sign, paving the way for all relationships, especially intimate ones. This will be a good time to smooth troubled waters. In May, Venus will stimulate the sexual side of your relationships, giving romance a greater intensity. You might also attract money through your spouse or your partner at this time. This leads me to believe that many of you, in the autumn, will begin a relationship with your boss or someone who is high up or in a position of authority, someone you might never have thought you would become involved with.

And of course, in November, the Sun is in your sign making you look strong and confident to everyone. This is your birthday month, which means you attract favourable situations to you. Home, Family and Real Estate

Just as in life nothing happens in isolation, because everything is connected. Likewise, your astrological chart is similar. In astrology, your chart is like a pizza cut into 12 pieces. Although it is a circle, there is definitely a top and the bottom. Generally speaking, if something favourably affects the top of your chart, there is link or a boomerang effect that likewise affects the bottom of your chart. In 2015, lucky, moneybags Jupiter is travelling through the top of your chart. This is good news for home, family and real estate, because in a roundabout way, this favourably affects the bottom of your chart. And the bottom of your chart is all about home, family and real estate.

Therefore, even though Jupiter strongly blesses your profession, career and social status in the community, it also blesses your relationships with authority figures, including parents. It can bring much more travel into your world, which obviously affects your home and family. It will boost your earnings and your image in the world; hence, your confidence and your energy, which in turn also affect your personal life.

Furthermore, in August, Jupiter will move into Virgo. Virgo works well with Scorpio, because they are 60 degrees apart. This means that in the last four months of the year, life will flow more easily for you. You will find it easier to get along with others. You will also find it easier to be optimistic and pleasant to everyone. In addition, your finances will probably get a boost, and this practical benefit will effect family relationships and your home. Many of you will introduce improvements to your home this year. You will also entertain more at home. You might also be more inclined to have meetings at your home, which include like-minded individuals who work for a common cause.

Because you are entering a three-year window where you want to clearly define what is important to you, many of you will give serious thought to your relationships with family members. Our focus on family members can change from year to year. Sometimes it's intense and very involved. Other times we focus on external projects. In January, you will be involved with siblings, neighbours and relatives. However, increased chaos and tension at home, perhaps due to renovations, repairs or visiting guests, will test your patience. (Grrr!) February is definitely a month when you have a strong focus on home and family, perhaps a parent in particular. This is also a good month to tackle repairs, and have important family discussions. A Sneak Peek Beyond 2015

Mercury Retrograde in 2015

Expect delays, lost items and confused communications! Best to finish things, not begin them. These are poor times to buy cars, trucks, bikes, computers, printers and phones.

Dates below are actual retrograde dates and buffer dates. Why? Mercury slows down before it goes retrograde and, likewise, it takes a while to catch up to the degree it was at when it first went retrograde. Use buffer times for big purchases like cars.
