Leo Forecast for 2015

The Year 2015

Since 2012, difficult planetary aspects between Pluto and Uranus have created unpredictable, catastrophic events affecting countries, weather systems, aviation, accidents and political protests. There are seven times during the interval from 2012 until March 2015 that these occur. But after March, these untoward events will subside. Of course, life will always have unpredictable events and tragedy; but there will be a noticeable lessening of these threats.

Furthermore, once Jupiter enters Virgo in August, the economy and general well-being of both Canada and the United States will improve. Specifically, legislation regarding health-related issues as well as the environment will be encouraging.

Meanwhile, this year, the planet Saturn will be in Sagittarius and remain there for the next two years. The last time Saturn was in Sagittarius was from 1986-1988, and before that in 1927-1929. Saturn rules the law courts and the legal infrastructure of society; and Sagittarius is concerned with the laws that govern higher education, publishing, the media, medicine and how we deal with foreign countries.

This planetary combination will result in legislation about education, immigration, the media (including the Internet), medicine and law enforcement. Sagittarius aspires to ideals in truth, freedom, open-mindedness, spirituality and education, which means a new kind of idealism will permeate legal decisions.

Meanwhile, the three Mercury retrogrades that occur this year will all take place in Air signs, and Air signs are intellectual. This is a further indication of innovative breakthroughs and inventions, particularly in electronics, computers and the high-tech industry.

Ultimately, there will be more stable economic growth especially after August for both Canada and the United States.

I don't believe in a Pollyanna way that we are always progressing to bigger and better things. But this year will see a lessening of difficult situations and a strong encouragement and progress in laws that better society.

Jupiter in Virgo will help to restore Canada's reputation, which has suffered globally in terms of freedom of expression and our overall "nice guy" image. I think we will once again regain much of the respect we have lost not only in the eyes of other countries, but in the individual self-respect of Canadians.

Although the beginning of this year will be tumultuous, and things will, yet again, be stalled in the water from June to September; after that, there will be welcome improvements that will affect millions of people. This year hope is justified!

We All Have a Past

Your 2015 annual forecast begins with a nod to the past to demonstrate how accurate or not it is. If what I say about your past resonates with you, then you can trust what I say about your future.

Back in 1995, you were getting along on less, but life was good. Vacations, romance and joy from children were a boon. You improved your job scene the following year, because you got a better job or improved your current job. Many of you also improved your health that year as well. By 1997, partnerships and relationships held some surprises for you, probably pleasantly so, because relations with others were warm and happy. This was also your time of preparation for the year 1999, which was a period of fruition and harvest. You were stylin'! This was also a great time for travel, higher education and exploring opportunities in medicine, the law, publishing and the media. You were still strong at the turn of the millennium, but things really accelerated in 2003 when lucky Jupiter returned to your sign. This was a confidence-building year for you! Something important happened.

However, that same year was approximately when you entered a two-year window where you had to give up things - possessions, places, residences, jobs, people, relationships - so that you would be free to move in a new direction by 2005. The year 2006 was a good time to enrich your home and family life. This was also a great year to explore real-estate negotiations or fix up where you lived. Within the next two years, romance, love affairs and fun vacations appealed. In 2008, you got more serious about work, because lovely opportunities started to open up in your job.

Partnerships improved in 2009, and you received help from others the following year. The two-year window around 2010-2011 put you into a state of flux with job changes, residential moves and some uncertainty. Money and Career

The year 2015 is a fortunate year for you in terms of money, success and career, because lucky moneybags Jupiter is in your sign. As Nixon used to say, "Let me say this about that." Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system. In fact, I like to say that Jupiter is so large it can hold all the other planets in the solar system inside it, plus three sesame seeds and the heart of a Hollywood producer. It's huge! Because of its large size, in astrology it represents magnification, excess, abundance, bounty, wealth and "lots of stuff."

Jupiter is also called Jove - hence, the term jovial. And yes, from that you can correctly assume that when Jupiter is in your sign, it's easier to be happy! ("Tra la, tra la, it is to laugh!") Jupiter entered your sign last year, and will continue to be in your sign this year. Previous to that, it was in your sign in 2002-03. Well, where to begin? Fortunately, you will find it easy to work hard now, and you won't complain about it. The main thing is you want a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment from your efforts. You want results! A tiny warning: Relations with business partners will be challenging, but just this month. Oh well.

By February, you will focus more on these partnerships and be able to mend broken fences. In fact, February is an excellent time to settle disputes about shared property and get money from others, including loans or fundraising. All negotiations will tend to go your way.

In March, your good fortune continues, with lucky Jupiter in your sign. Now travel for pleasure appeals. ("Let's blow this pop stand!") Those of you involved in legal work, medicine, publishing, the media and teaching will be vigorous and assertive. This is a good time to explore doing business in another country. The month of April continues to bring travel opportunities. However, now your ambition is aroused! You will really go after what you want. Your interests in dealing with publishing, medicine, the law and foreign countries are still strong.

In May, your reputation shines and people will admire you and think highly of you, particularly people in authority like bosses and VIPs. This is because the Sun is at the top of your chart now, shining a symbolic spotlight on you. What is important to know is that this light is flattering! This is definitely the month to make your pitch or state your case to the boss.

June is a popular month, and you will do well dealing with groups, classes, meetings, conferences and conventions. June is also an excellent time to buy wardrobe goodies to make you look stunning at work. ("Promote me!") This great press continues into July and August, because the Sun is back in Leo - your sign. You are fortunate, because you will easily attract people and favourable circumstances to you then.

By September, you are both charming and assertive about going after what you want. And good news! Jupiter has now entered your House of Earnings, where it will stay for the next year, boosting your opportunities to earn more money. You might get a better job. Or you might do something to make money on the side. (Whatever puts bucks in your jeans!) Remember, this lucky, financial influence continues all year and into 2016. Ka-ching!

October is a busy month with short trips, errands, talking to people, meeting new people, and exploring training options. By November, you need to catch your breath and focus on home and family. This could include real-estate deals. December is a fabulous month for financial speculation and exploring opportunities in sports, the entertainment world, the hospitality industry and any kind of work related to children. Keep in mind that your ability to boost your earnings continues to be in effect from September this year until September next year!

It's important to know that from your birthday onward (2015 and for most of 2016) you will have the ability to manifest what it is you truly value. Very often, I refer to the increase of money and possessions during this time because that is traditionally what a lot of people want. But the truth is that this astrological influence really means that you will actualize in your life whatever it is you value, and this might include spiritual values and ideas or a standard of justice or whatever it is that you want to increase in your life. One of the tests of this astrological influence is to understand how to use your resources, because ironically, it's very easy now to mismanage these resources. The secret is to be clear about what you need and want. Obviously, this is a good time to look at your overall goals and ask yourself what it is that is really important to you.

Relationships and Romance

As I mentioned above, it's a given that all your relationships will improve this year - both romantic and professional - because with lucky Jupiter in your sign, you are happier, more upbeat, friendlier, and positive about life. Expect delays, lost items and confused communications! Best to finish things, not begin them. These are poor times to buy cars, trucks, bikes, computers, printers and phones.

Dates below are actual retrograde dates and buffer dates. Why? Mercury slows down before it goes retrograde and, likewise, it takes a while to catch up to the degree it was at when it first went retrograde. Use buffer times for big purchases like cars.
