Gemini Forecast for 2015

The Year 2015

Since 2012, difficult planetary aspects between Pluto and Uranus have created unpredictable, catastrophic events affecting countries, weather systems, aviation, accidents and political protests. There are seven times during the interval from 2012 until March 2015 that these occur. But after March, these untoward events will subside. Of course, life will always have unpredictable events and tragedy; but there will be a noticeable lessening of these threats.

Furthermore, once Jupiter enters Virgo in August, the economy and general well-being of both Canada and the United States will improve. Specifically, legislation regarding health-related issues as well as the environment will be encouraging.

Meanwhile, this year, the planet Saturn will be in Sagittarius and remain there for the next two years. The last time Saturn was in Sagittarius was from 1986-1988, and before that in 1927-1929. Saturn rules the law courts and the legal infrastructure of society; and Sagittarius is concerned with the laws that govern higher education, publishing, the media, medicine and how we deal with foreign countries.

This planetary combination will result in legislation about education, immigration, the media (including the Internet), medicine and law enforcement. Sagittarius aspires to ideals in truth, freedom, open-mindedness, spirituality and education, which means a new kind of idealism will permeate legal decisions.

Meanwhile, the three Mercury retrogrades that occur this year will all take place in Air signs, and Air signs are intellectual. This is a further indication of innovative breakthroughs and inventions, particularly in electronics, computers and the high-tech industry.

Ultimately, there will be more stable economic growth especially after August for both Canada and the United States.

I don't believe in a Pollyanna way that we are always progressing to bigger and better things. But this year will see a lessening of difficult situations and a strong encouragement and progress in laws that better society.

Jupiter in Virgo will help to restore Canada's reputation, which has suffered globally in terms of freedom of expression and our overall "nice guy" image. I think we will once again regain much of the respect we have lost not only in the eyes of other countries, but in the individual self-respect of Canadians.

Although the beginning of this year will be tumultuous, and things will, yet again, be stalled in the water from June to September; after that, there will be welcome improvements that will affect millions of people. This year hope is justified!

We All Have a Past

Your 2015 annual forecast begins with a nod to the past to demonstrate how accurate or not it is. If what I say about your past resonates with you, then you can trust what I say about your future.

In 1998 and 1999, you were out there flying your colours and enjoying an increased popularity. In fact, some of you literally put your name up in lights! However, things changed dramatically around 1999-2001 when you underwent a time of major transition. Around the turn of the millennium, you either chose, or were forced, to give up many things - people, places and possessions. Perhaps relationships ended, or jobs changed, or you moved, possibly you even left one country for another. In some ways, it was a time of loss, but in other ways you were lightening your load. 2001 was the year you began a new 30-year journey, and in the first seven years of this journey, you reinvented yourself.

The beginning of this journey was auspicious because lucky Jupiter was in Gemini! This was a double beginning of sorts. Not only did the planet Saturn dictate that you were to begin a 30-year cycle, but the planet Jupiter also indicated you were beginning a 12-year cycle of growth and development - cycles within cycles. This meant that around 2001, you were truly on a journey to discover what and who you really were as an individual. At the same time, partnerships were stressed. That's because fiery Mars was in Sagittarius for six months - directly opposing your sign.

By 2002, your earnings may have increased, and by 2003 your ambition was aroused. This helped you prepare for 2004-08 when your whole life direction completely changed. (For some of you, this happened a bit later.) That's why the period from 2006 to 2009 was a time of residential or job changes. Some of you experienced both. Travel for pleasure and an opportunity to go back to school or explore opportunities in publishing, the media, medicine and the law looked great in 2009. By 2010, your reputation was shining! Your peers were impressed.

However, in 2012, increased activity and tension where you lived, and perhaps with family members, was frustrating and challenging. But you survived. In fact, this survival was in no small part due to the fact that lucky Jupiter returned to your sign in June that year, where it stayed until July 2013. Again, this was a wonderful boost to your energy, your confidence, and your good fortune in general. It was also timely. By now you were working hard to show the world what you could do, and you were succeeding. That old saying is true! "The harder you work, the luckier you get."

Money and Career

In many ways, this year is a defining year for your career. Since 2001, you have struggled to redefine who you are, and then figure out what you really wanted to do. Recently, you have worked hard (very hard!) to show others what you can accomplish. Now, after all this effort, you are entering the year when you will begin to get serious recognition and acknowledgement for your efforts. This will become evident in the first six months of the year. In both subtle and not-so-subtle ways, you will start to deal with your external world more directly. You might not feel that you're playing in the big leagues right away, but there will be a noticeable difference. Oh yes! Whereas before - for the last 14 years - much of your life has been a slow time of preparation, now all that is past. You will feel that you are in the game, and ready to look at exciting options unfolding in your future. These are not just encouraging words to puff up your ego. This is a fact. It's the real deal. Older Geminis can look back to 1986 when a similar thing happened. It's like you are out of the starting gate and running.

In particular, you will enjoy and experience powerful one-to-one encounters with others. These friendships and partnerships will be important to you. More and more you will focus your attention away from your personal life, and instead on the wider social world. You will also start to get a better idea of what others expect from you. Once you understand these expectations, you can start to live up to them. Do note: What these expectations are is less important than the fact that you fulfill them. This is your test.

But all is not sweetness and light, because the first half of this year will clip your wings somewhat. Once again, there will be demands made on you, probably in terms of work - hours of drudgery, research, whatever - and you will have to prove yourself once again. Then by September, you will truly take your power and work your way toward a career peak in 2024-25.

One of your most winning attributes and powerful pieces of arsenal in your bag to help bring you success this year is your attitude. Attitude is everything. Consider this: From your thought springs the word, and from your word springs the deed. The deed soon becomes habit, and habit eventually hardens into character. This means it all begins with your thoughts! You are your thoughts. This is why everyone is responsible for their own face after the age of 50.

This year you feel confident, positive and optimistic! Why? These are your thoughts! Naturally, this positive attitude will affect your everyday life in a good way, because you will attract others to you. (Everyone loves someone who is happy.) Others will approach you, and in turn, offer you their ideas and advice, as well as opportunities. You will find that your thinking is no longer inhibited by old limitations. Suddenly, you will have a new way of looking at things! Because your attitude will be more generous, more understanding and more welcoming, as well as more tolerant, all kinds of people and new opportunities will unfold before you. In addition, your communications with others will be much better as well. (Ya think?) You will be more willing to talk frankly about aspects of a particular problem, or what you think needs to be done.

Thomas Edison said, "I am more of a sponge than an inventor. I absorb ideas from every source. My principal business is giving commercial value to the brilliant but misdirected ideas of others." And this is how 2015 will be for you. Like a sponge, you will soak up new ideas and attitudes.

And now for the real money part: From September onward, begin to look for real-estate opportunities to boost your income. Your chances to make money from real-estate speculation will be the best they have been in 12 years. You cannot ignore this! November is a particularly good month to benefit from real estate, or even from improving where you live. So remember that from September, and well into the following year, you can increase your future wealth by investing either in home real estate, or by buying real estate for the first time - perhaps a condo or a cottage. If you don't actually buy real estate, you will benefit by making improvements to any real estate that you currently own.

By the same token, family businesses will flourish as never before! This is a wonderful time to begin a family business or to begin any home business. This is because your strong financial blessing is related to family, land, real estate and your home. Now you know, you can act on it with certainty and confidence.

Relationships and Romance

All your relationships will improve this year - platonic, professional and romantic. The reason for this is simple. From the point of view of others, you appear to be wonderfully attractive. You are so positive, optimistic and confident. (Optimism and confidence are sexy!) We are always attracted to happy people, just as we tend to avoid negative people. Being the natural wordsmith that you are, combined with your newfound confidence, you'll have killer opening lines like, "You look like someone I would like to meet."

While it is true that all your relationships will improve this year, there is one caveat. The first six months of this year, and then beginning again in December until 2018, Saturn will be in Sagittarius, which is 180? opposite from your sign. This opposition comes along only once every 30 years, and when it does, it creates tension with existing partnerships both professional and intimate. This will be insurmountable for some relationships. In other words, those relationships that are not meant to last will probably bite the dust in the next few years. But don't worry! Most relationships will endure. However, the ones that endure will have to undergo major readjustments. Just be aware of this. This means if you're in a relationship that you want to maintain, be patient, tolerant and understanding. You might even seek out counselling or help. If you feel bewildered, just remind yourself why you want to be in this relationship. Be the kind of person that you want your partner to be. That is to say, if you want your partner to be loving, admiring and fun to be with - then take on these attributes yourself. Be loving, admiring, and fun to be with. Makes sense, doesn't it?

Taking a further look at the year ahead, you'll find that January is hot and sexy, because the vibes are right and you feel affectionate. Four planets, including Venus, are in the part of your chart related to sex. By February, a love affair with someone older, richer or more worldly could develop. Could this be your boss? That's because both Venus and Mars are at the top of your chart now. Furthermore, this is a time when you're keen to travel and explore other cultures and different countries. The month of March is all about physical sports, competitiveness and making new friends, especially creative types. You might meet artistic people, who are real characters. Certainly they will be independent! There will likely be an element of competitiveness involved, so you might meet these people through a gym or physical sports. Another obvious area would be clubs and organizations.

In April, some of you will become involved in a secret love affair. The fact is, you kind of like this. No matter who you're with, you always want to have your adoring peanut gallery on the side. Oh yes, Geminis love having a fan club!

Take note that May is a wonderful month to buy wardrobe items to help make you look sexy and appealing. The reason for this is that Venus will be in your sign, and Venus makes you charming, pleasant and more attractive. This also means that you will like what you see in the mirror. And hey, you've gotta like yourself to buy snazzy clothes! You have to feel imaginative and confident.

From July through October, enjoy schmoozing with everyone. You will meet younger, artistic types, and you might also meet new faces through siblings and neighbours. Even you will be surprised at your own popularity - it just goes on and on! (Your bathroom mirror will be covered in kisses.) In December, romance and love affairs definitely rock! This is a given, because the Sun and Mercury will be in your House of Partnerships and Marriage, while both Venus and Mars will be in the part of your chart symbolizing romance, love affairs, vacations and dating. Wow!

Home, Family and Real Estate

Although things look promising, we can't ignore another important factor. Saturn will be opposite your sign this year until 2018. When it comes to your family unit, some couples will split up. The last time you felt this much stress on a partnership was from 1986 - 1988. However, obviously, not all couples are going to split up. And as I mentioned in the previous section, the relationships that endure will have to undergo readjustments in an honest, cards-on-the-table way.

Given the above warning, the rest of the news regarding home and family is actually fantastic! In the first six months of the year, your positive attitude and winning, upbeat style will promote everyday relationships, especially with siblings, relatives and neighbours. Everyone will love you! Then in September, you enter a year-long window of time where everything to do with your family, your home, your relatives, your relationship with family members - the whole lot -- all of this will wonderfully improve. Family relationships will be warmer and more mutually generous.

In addition, your relationship to where you live will improve because Jupiter will bring a blessing to your home life that is the best that you have had since 2001. Many of you will move to bigger digs, or find a home that feels more affluent. Something will make you love where you live. Ironically, some of you will not move, but will change your home so that you love it more. You might invest money in it, or buy beautiful things that make you feel richer at home, and so feel fortunate and happy to live where you live. Obviously, this great blessing in the area of your home also applies to real estate, which I discussed in the Money and Career section. Bear in mind, however, that from September onward, there is a one-year window that will be the best time to invest in your home or real estate. You will only benefit from this in the future.

March and April will be social times. You'll be making friends then, and perhaps entertaining at home more as well. June is another strong, popular time for you. Ditto for August! In particular, relations with siblings, neighbours and relatives will improve beautifully in the late summer. And September, October and November are fabulous months to entertain at home. Definitely make plans to do this. You will likely undertake decorating projects at that time, because you want your home to be beautiful and inviting. December is a playful month that bodes well for romance and entertaining. It's also a month where your focus will be on partners and close friends.

A Sneak Peek Beyond 2015

Your future looks bright. In September 2016, you will enter a fabulous year that promises wonderful vacations, fun times, and an increased interest in sports events and the arts, plus a boost to all things romantic. Yay! Singles will have the best chance in over a decade to meet romantic partners. I kid you not. (One doesn't kid about matters of the heart.) September 2016 until late 2017 will be a playful time for you. One thing that might surprise you is that from 2015 until the end of 2017 will be a great time to expand your family through marriage, birth or adoption. There are many reasons why the joy of children could please you in this three-year period.

Fortunately, by 2019, partnerships are a source of joy as well. Glory hallelujah! The stress of 2015-17 is over. Those partnerships that endured will be even happier in 2019; singles might enter committed partnerships at that time. Something along these lines will happen, because by 2020 you will receive assistance, help and increased wealth through your partner and the wealth and resources of others. Yes, this could also include an inheritance.

In the year 2021, travel opportunities are fabulous, and by 2022 you are laughing, because your reputation is sterling. Bosses, parents, VIPs and your peers will respect you then. But the big thing on the horizon is 2025, when you will reach your time of harvest, and simultaneously, lucky Jupiter returns to your sign to magnify your success and good fortune. How sweet it is!

Expect delays, lost items and confused communications! Best to finish things, not begin them. These are poor times to buy cars, trucks, bikes, computers, printers and phones.

Dates below are actual retrograde dates and buffer dates. Why? Mercury slows down before it goes retrograde and, likewise, it takes a while to catch up to the degree it was at when it first went retrograde. Use buffer times for big purchases like cars.
