Aries Forecast for 2015

The Year 2015

Since 2012, difficult planetary aspects between Pluto and Uranus have created unpredictable, catastrophic events affecting countries, weather systems, aviation, accidents and political protests. There are seven times during the interval from 2012 until March 2015 that these occur. But after March, these untoward events will subside. Of course, life will always have unpredictable events and tragedy; but there will be a noticeable lessening of these threats.

Furthermore, once Jupiter enters Virgo in August, the economy and general well-being of both Canada and the United States will improve. Specifically, legislation regarding health-related issues as well as the environment will be encouraging.

Meanwhile, this year, the planet Saturn will be in Sagittarius and remain there for the next two years. The last time Saturn was in Sagittarius was from 1986-1988, and before that in 1927-1929. Saturn rules the law courts and the legal infrastructure of society; and Sagittarius is concerned with the laws that govern higher education, publishing, the media, medicine and how we deal with foreign countries.

This planetary combination will result in legislation about education, immigration, the media (including the Internet), medicine and law enforcement. Sagittarius aspires to ideals in truth, freedom, open-mindedness, spirituality and education, which means a new kind of idealism will permeate legal decisions.

Meanwhile, the three Mercury retrogrades that occur this year will all take place in Air signs, and Air signs are intellectual. This is a further indication of innovative breakthroughs and inventions, particularly in electronics, computers and the high-tech industry.

Ultimately, there will be more stable economic growth especially after August for both Canada and the United States.

I don't believe in a Pollyanna way that we are always progressing to bigger and better things. But this year will see a lessening of difficult situations and a strong encouragement and progress in laws that better society.

Jupiter in Virgo will help to restore Canada's reputation, which has suffered globally in terms of freedom of expression and our overall "nice guy" image. I think we will once again regain much of the respect we have lost not only in the eyes of other countries, but in the individual self-respect of Canadians.

Although the beginning of this year will be tumultuous, and things will, yet again, be stalled in the water from June to September; after that, there will be welcome improvements that will affect millions of people. This year hope is justified!

We All Have a Past

Your 2015 annual forecast begins with a nod to the past to demonstrate how accurate or not it is. If what I say about your past resonates with you, then you can trust what I say about your future.

Let's look back to around 1994, when you were doing some serious downsizing. Some of you left jobs, relationships, and perhaps even countries. Fortunately, at this time, all was not lost, because you also benefited from the wealth and resources of others. This might have been through an inheritance, or an indirect benefit through your partner, who may have received a bonus or a better job. You might have received a loan or a mortgage from a bank.

What was difficult, however, was that during this time someone was working against your best interests, probably behind the scenes. Grrrr! And this continued well into 1995, which fortunately was a year when travel, adventure and further education were promising. Some of you also explored opportunities in medicine, the law, publishing and the media.

By 1996, your reputation was looking good! Many of you got a better job, or a raise, or the thrill of work-related travel. Others managed to change their field of work to something related to medicine, healing, legal work, publishing or the media.

By 1997, you set off on a completely new path. In fact, it was so new some of you changed your daily wardrobe. In 1999, lucky Jupiter was back in your sign giving you a chance to show others what you could do. (Awriiight!) This was the beginning of a new 12-year cycle of growth.

Many of you boosted your earnings around 2002. Over the next two years, you were in a state of flux. ("Am I coming or going?") This window of time practically guaranteed a change of residence or a change of jobs, or both. You moved to bigger digs, found a better home, perhaps bought your first apartment, or improved where you lived. Family relationships became warmer, richer and more mutually generous.

By 2005, partnerships and close friendships were rewarding. At this time, you focused on home repairs, because you felt a need to solidify and secure your home base. Fortunately, by 2007, you took flight to see more of the world. You also had chances to get further training and education, as well as to explore opportunities in medicine, the law, publishing and the media.

Around 2008, lovely opportunities allowed you to put your name up in lights! You had a chance to make your mark, and because others were impressed with you, in 2009, you entered a two-year window where you were busting your buns to prove what you could do. That was a popular time for you, because new friends and involvement with groups pumped energy into your life.

In 2009-2010, you experienced chaos and activity at home, which meant tension as well. This might have been due to residential moves, major renovations, decorating projects, or even the arrival of someone who temporarily lived with you. But you survived!

By 2011, you were more confident. You felt surrounded by positive circumstances, because Jupiter was back in your sign for the first time since 1999. Now you felt admired, because others were ready to acknowledge your efforts. However, just as you were starting to make a name for yourself, your bubble burst! As you began to step out into the world to take your power, partnerships became impossible. In the next few years, many partnerships ended. Those that lasted went through adjustments so they could endure.

By 2013-2014, you entered boot camp. And you still are in boot camp! It's boot camp, because this was (and is) a tough time, but it's also a time of training and preparation. You are in a two to three-year window where the resources of others are denied to you or are reduced or diminished. In addition, last year, Mars sat opposite your sign for eight long months, which caused a terrible strain on partnerships. Money and Career

Any discussion of your career and financial scene should not ignore a long-term influence that began in 2009, and which will last until 2024. We're talking about Pluto in Capricorn. Pluto is a powerful planet, and it is sometimes ruthless. Nevertheless, the ultimate aim of any Pluto transit is to create, or leave behind, a superior result. The power of this experience cannot be overestimated. For one thing, Pluto takes roughly 250 years to travel through all 12 signs. In your case, Pluto is now crossing the top of your chart from 2009 until 2024 - that's 15 years! But do the math, and connect the dots. If Pluto takes 250 years to travel around a chart, it also means that a great many people will never experience Pluto crossing the top of their chart in the way that you are experiencing it now. (Not unless you live for several centuries.)

Holy Zodiac! What does this mean?

The top of your chart is the symbol of where you receive honours, kudos, public attention, fame, promotions and accolades. To be more precise, the top of your chart is your time of harvest. It is the time when all the seeds that you have planted can now ripen and come to fruition. For most people, their time of harvest is a time of success - graduation, honours, a wedding, a birth, a promotion. In other words, its a chance to boost their reputation in the eyes of their peers. But as any farmer knows, sometimes a time of harvest can be when you experience failure. For example, President Nixon went through the Watergate scandal during his time of harvest.

And now here you are, in the midst of a 15-year window of time when Pluto is crossing the most powerful part of your chart! For starters, Pluto will arouse your ambition, and make you want to achieve more than ever before. Pluto will give you the power to achieve your life goals. ("My Precious!") You will be obsessed about trying to make your mark upon the world. Oh yes! But be careful, because Pluto can be ruthless. If you do not know what your goals are, you might fumble in different directions. Initially, you might go through several jobs, feeling uncertain, because you want to find out what it is you are supposed to be doing. (Fists beating breast: "What is my destiny?")

You will either work fervently for some specific goals, or you will alter your life direction completely. This is a time when some people radically change their lives! It's important to take the high road and to play fair, because Pluto also rules crime and violence. You cannot take shortcuts with Pluto. You have been warned!

Another major influence is Saturn, which continues to hold back the support of others. (The boot camp thang!) This will be ongoing until October this year, when things finally start to lighten up. (Whew!) Fortunately, last year's stress (when Mars opposed your sign for eight months) is over. Nevertheless, help from others is still diminished, perhaps because someone who helped share the rent has moved out. Or a cash advance has run out. Or a scholarship or bursary has dried up. There are many reasons you might be forced to get along on less, but the bottom line is you have to rely on yourself. And although this seems difficult, I call it boot camp, because in fact, it is preparing you for a time of success in the very near future. Believe it!

By October 2015, you will notice that life is becoming considerably lighter! Since 2013, Saturn has made you ponder your own mortality. It may have provoked some serious questions: "How much time do I have left?" "Is there is something important that I am supposed to do? If so, what is it?"

But in the bigger scheme of things, we see now that you started to reinvent yourself around 1996; and around 2003, you began to pull your act together, working hard in 2007 and 2008. Now you are learning to stand on your own two feet because you have to be ready for a time of further training, education and preparation at the end of this year, and all through 2016 and 2017. This is big stuff.

Meanwhile, by September this year, fortunate opportunities to improve your job, or get a better job, or improve your current duties in your job will come your way. Factoid. This auspicious influence to better your employment will last until October 2016. Use it! Whatever distresses you about work can be alleviated or even removed. If you have a terrible boss, that person will be transferred to Timbuktu. The reason for this is that lucky Jupiter has arrived to rescue you! Back in 2003-2004, Jupiter offered you employment opportunities. However, this time things are different because Pluto has galvanized you into action! In other words, you're serious!

The definition of good luck is being prepared and ready to act when an opportunity presents itself, is it not?

Relationships and Romance

You can thank your lucky stars, because when it comes to close friendships and relationships, you are finally off the hot seat. Last year was a bummer. That's because your ruler, fiery Mars, was in the sign of Libra for eight months, which meant it directly opposed you. (Libra and Aries are 180? apart.) To put this in perspective, normally, Mars would be in Libra for about six to seven weeks once every two years. Not really a big deal. But in a strange celestial fluke, Mars hovered opposite your sign for eight months! (Heeeelp!) Fortunately, that is all history now. But of course, words and actions are not forgotten. Oh, yes! In fact, many relationships came to an end. It's curious though. Your romantic life is like the story of the little girl with the curl in the middle of her forehead. When she was good, she was very, very good. And when she was bad she was horrid. Now your love life does a complete 180! And since the summer of 2014, your romantic opportunities have improved and will continue to improve. Who knew this would be possible?

Just accept this, and live it up. Enjoy your life, because many of you have a new lease on your heart strings. Thrilling new opportunities will continue to give you chances to meet romantic interests all year long. Expect encounters with people from different backgrounds, different cultures and different countries. You will also meet people who have been raised differently from you. Whatever the case, it is the difference that is so intriguing! These new relationships will teach you more about the world, more than you ever dreamed possible, in fact.

Travel with romantic partners will also appeal to you, and be entirely likely. Some of you will begin relationships with someone with an age difference - a person who is older or younger than you.

One of the main reasons why you will meet unusual people this year, and explore romantic relationships with them, is because your creative potential is exceptional. This gives you juice and self-confidence! You will have good health and a feeling of well-being. This exuberance might push you into sports where you meet new faces, which develop into romantic relationships. Your interest in things that are different from your world is growing and blossoming.

Meanwhile, existing relationships will feel revived and rejuvenated. Many couples will go on vacation, and have fun exploring the world together. There is a sense of feeling young, carefree and cavalier. ("Care to tango?")

February will be a popular time for you, and you will especially enjoy meeting and socializing with younger people. A secret love affair could take place at this time. The month of March will be sizzling! Both Venus and Mars will be in Aries, which always makes you look attractive and dazzling to others. (Both these planets are related to sexual relationships.) Meanwhile, Mars will give you the courage to make the first move, which is something you like to do because you love the chase. "The game, Mrs. Hudson, is on!"

In May, relationships with neighbours and siblings will be warm and congenial, because you will find it easy to be friendly with everyone. But the really good news is about your glorious summer. Home, Family and Real Estate

You are often in a conundrum regarding whether or not to own a home. "Should I? Should I not?" That's because, at heart, you are the warrior of the zodiac. This means you have to be ready to leap on your trusty steed at a moment's notice to follow your general off to war. Naturally, the King or the military will provide you with food, shelter, clothing and weapons to risk limb and life to protect your country. ("My hero!") Yes, this is the Aries archetype, which although fanciful and extreme, is never really that far removed from who you are at the core of your being. Home ownership suggests being tied down, a loss of your freedom of movement. Horrors!

The one thing that is in the cards for family relationships this year will be a vacation. It's in the bag, so start making plans for this. You will you go on a vacation by yourself, with a lover, with a friend, or with your family. Because the resources of others are cut off to you right now, and you might feel financially strapped, your family vacation might be closer to home. Nevertheless, it will still be gratifying and pleasurable. Lucky, jovial Jupiter will guarantee this! You have not been this excited about having a major vacation since 2002-2003. But this year, things are different. This year's vacation will be more adventurous, because in 2011 unpredictable Uranus entered your sign where it will stay until 2019. This means you're even more impulsive, more adventurous, and more spontaneous! Can this be? (Shrug.) Apparently! Your ability to drop everything and do something at a moment's notice will amaze even you. You want instant gratification! If you learn about something that you really want to see, visit or experience, you will book a fight or make hotel reservations, or do whatever is necessary to ensure that it's all systems go! "Damn the torpedoes! Full speed ahead!"

Children will be an important factor in your world this year. You will enjoy activities with young people more than usual, and will take them on fun vacations and to sports events. You might also teach them arts and crafts. (Who better than you, artisan of the zodiac?) In addition, you might expand your family through birth, adoption, or by inviting children into your home. April and May are times when increased earnings will make it possible to splurge on fun times and vacations. Ka-ching! Meanwhile, June and July will be the perfect time to renovate or redecorate your home.

In the big picture, family relationships have been undergoing lots of subtle, and not so subtle, changes since 2011, because old patterns have been breaking down. Fear not because these were patterns that no longer worked or helped to serve a purpose in your life. Whatever was restricting you has to go. (Be gone! And never darken my towels again!) Please note: This liberating influence will continue for four more years and you will be constantly challenged to change the way you handle your world. As you accommodate to feeling liberated, you will have experiences you might have denied yourself before. This is because more and more, you are becoming aware that many of your limitations have been self-imposed. This is an epiphany. ("I am free! I hold the key!")

A Sneak Peek Beyond 2015

In 2016, partnerships and close relationships will beautifully improve. ("How sweet it is.") In fact, next year will be an excellent year to form partnerships or get married.

And yes, you will receive your laminated Get Out of Jail Free card. No more boot camp! Instead you will give serious consideration to opportunities for further education or training that can enhance or stabilize your career. The period from 2015 to 2018 is an excellent time to go back to school, because you will have the discipline to knuckle down. You will also be attracted to the study of higher consciousness, metaphysics, religion and philosophy - the stuff you find in Marvel comics.

All this study, travel and preparation is simply to lay the groundwork for your time of harvest, which will be in 2018-2021. This will be a time of success for most of you, because there is also an indication that money, wealth, gifts and the resources of others will come to you. Not just advantages through your own earnings. You might also get scholarships, bursaries, increased budgets, inheritances, or somehow benefit indirectly through others. In 2019-20, travel will be thrilling because you will take ambitious trips. And to think this is all before you receive even more kudos in 2021. Gasp!

Expect delays, lost items and confused communications! Best to finish things, not begin them. These are poor times to buy cars, trucks, bikes, computers, printers and phones.

Dates below are actual retrograde dates and buffer dates. Why? Mercury slows down before it goes retrograde and, likewise, it takes a while to catch up to the degree it was at when it first went retrograde. Use buffer times for big purchases like cars.
