To a Better Year Ahead!
Canada and the US will enjoy an improved financial climate this year as North America moves towards a more solid footing. Family life and especially the rights and care of children will also improve.
Last year Saturn entered Scorpio to stay until September 2015. This means Saturn is now being expressed in a Scorpio style - or to put it another way - the areas that are governed by Scorpio are the ones undergoing strong challenges.
The sign of Scorpio governs sex, secrets, espionage and spying, police detection and criminal activity as well as medicine, plumbing, manufacturing, nuclear fission, television, the military and everything related to death.
Meanwhile the planet Saturn governs all pyramid structures, especially rules and regulations and the government.
When Saturn was last in Scorpio in 1984-86, Indira Gandhi was assassinated, AIDS was discovered, Apple released the first MAC computer, Geraldine Ferraro was the first woman to run as a Vice President running mate, Nintendo was released, the Challenger exploded after take off, the Chernobyl disaster occurred and FOX network began. This same energy will pervade in 2014.
Small wonder we have press coverage about NSA spying on its own citizens as well as other countries, plus security leaks and whistle blowers like Edward Snowden. The year 2014 will continue to focus on crime, ruthless politics and overburdened medical systems, as well as exposing illegal surveillance of the public.
The real-estate market will continue to improve until summer, after which it might settle for awhile. From the summer of 2014 and beyond, we can expect improvements and more activity in the arts and the entertainment world. During this same time, there will be a wonderful boost to the hospitality industry, which is good news for restaurants, hotels, resorts and theme parks.
So it's a bad year for spies and a good year for stand-up comedy. Does this mean funny is out of the bag? No more hidden humour?
I agree with Margaret Mead who said, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful citizens can change the world; indeed it's the only thing that ever has."
But I also agree with George Carlin who said: "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups."
Hello 2014!
Your life is an ongoing revolution. Many of you have left groups you previously identified with to explore different lifestyles you thought you would never experience. You're doing things you never dreamt were possible. This year new contacts continue to challenge your old ways. (You will rebel against any group that puts pressure on you.) You see how much your life has changed since 2001, especially with residential moves and job changes from 2004-07. (That's when partnerships expanded in a meaningful way.) It's important now to raise your sights. Don't settle for as little as you might have years ago. Every two years, Mars stays in one sign for six weeks. This year is different. Mars is in one sign for eight months! Holy Fireball! While this is tough for some, it's Fun City for Geminis because Mars will hover in the part of your chart governing love affairs, romance, vacations, parties, social events, the theatre, the arts, sports events and playful times with children.
