Introduuuucing - 2008!!

The New Year Begins

This year You hit the pavement running. You're busy. You're taking short trips. You're communicating to everyone plus reading, writing and studying. You're driving a lot, and trying to be all things to all people. Enuff awreddy! However, you're earning money. And you're enjoying spending it, especially on beautiful things for yourself and loved ones. (This you like.)

Home, family domestic matters and real estate deals capture your attention in February. However, you're still schmoozing pleasantly, especially with relatives and siblings. You're meeting new people. And you're still stoked about sex! (See Attack From Mars! above.) If you're shopping, did you know that Scorpio rules underwear? (Each sign rules certain aspects of clothing and the body.) Since Scorpio rules all things hidden, naturally it rules undies. Maybe you should buy something devastatingly sexy to wear? (Sounds like a plan Stan.)

Hopefully, you'll follow February's advice about buying Day-Glo underwear and peekaboo lingerie because March is all about toujours l'amour. This is the time to get away for a vacation. Love affairs, romance, parties, playful activities, entertaining diversions, as well as sports and activities with children are on the menu. You want to have fun. And at the same time, family gatherings, as well as domestic repairs and redecorating projects excite you. Sort of. (It might be sublimation for some of you.)

Spring is Sprung

Even though you still want to party (and of course, you will) guilt or some other reason is driving you to work harder and be more productive. Since you're such a strong, willful, determined sign, and you also have lots of amazing energy -- you can juggle both these areas at one-time for a while. Like Sagittarius, you work hard and party hard. You're not the type to sit around getting dusty, waiting until life gets easier.

With all this emphasis on fun, vacations, parties and romance, small wonder that you're suddenly deeply focused on partnerships and close friendships in May. Your focus is on significant others, which might also include important clients and customers. These relationships look good. Very good. This could be why you're making travel plans to blow town, or explore adventurous ways of learning something new. Because you really are. You're also excited about publishing, the media, and maybe even medicine or the law. That figures.

Many Scorpios work in medicine. And the rest are cops. Some do both. When they give you a medical examination they say, "Put your hands on the wall and cough."

Salad Days of Summer

By July, you're in serious travel mode. It's important that you do something to break free from your daily routine. You want adventure and exciting new experiences. You want to meet people from other cultures.

This is also an excellent time to explore opportunities in publishing, the media, medicine and the law. Many of you will enjoy taking summer courses. And so it goes.

By August, a gaggle of planets of the top of your chart shines a light on you. Parents, bosses and VIPs really notice you. You're super active with friends and groups especially in a physical way. Sporting honours will come to some of you. You'll be singled out for recognition for some reason. (Of course, it's not whether you win or lose -- it's how you look playing the game.)

Back to School

Suddenly, you're popular! This is saying something because you've already been quite popular all through the summer. Now everyone loves you and wants to see your face. Accept invitations. Get out and schmooze. Talk to people about your hopes and dreams because their responses will help you somehow. Secret affair is a little love trysts might take place now. You're passionate and you're secretive - who's surprised? (You know who you are.)

All this mad, social, swirl cannot continue. ("Kiss me, you fool.") And so it stops. You need to hide in October. You need a breather. And you need time to regroup. Popularity is one thing, but you don't want to get swallowed up. One of your challenges this year is defining that delicate balance between befriending others and yet still maintaining your individual independence. A very fine line indeed. And on top of that, what you do with your enemies? Is there no rest?

Freeze That Frame

Every year, as the Sun dips farther south, you gain in strength. Finally, it's your turn to recharge your batteries for the rest of the year. This is especially so this year because both fiery Mars and the Sun are in your sign now. You're stoked! You continue to earn money. (I like this part.) And you're still spending it on beautiful things for yourself and all your sweethearts. (This part is good, too.) You feel awfully good about yourself. Your optimism hasn't been this high for years. Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.

As the year ends, your focus turns very strongly to money. You want more of it! And you have ideas about how to do this. In fact, moneymaking ideas and financial opportunities are exciting now. You're working hard and your cash flow is active. Relations with daily colleagues and siblings are excellent. This is a good time to sign contracts or enter into negotiations. (Note: Earning money in your spare time by blackmailing your friends isn't really kosher.)
