Your Secret Past
2008 is a significant year because it's on the other end of the teeter-totter from 1994, when significant changes took place in your life. You had just ended a period of loss and giving up many things. In 1994-95, you begin a new journey of creating a new world for yourself and even a new identity. So much changed then! By 1999-2000, once again, you were on the prowl changing jobs or residences.
In 2001-02, your family and home were a major focus. ("When the smoke alarm goes off, dinner's ready!") Soon increased responsibilities with children and a burning desire to discover what it is you should really do in life filled your time and thoughts.
Life has been overwhelming in the last few years because you've been juggling so much and working so hard trying to make it all come together. But there is major shift now. It's all coming together! (People are no longer putting change in your coffee cup.)
Attack from Mars!
Mars rules war and aggression. It also rules our muscles, and how we assert ourselves in all our relationships. Mars takes about two years to orbit the planet so it stays in each sign for about seven weeks. But lo! Due to a celestial dustup, Mars entered Cancer on Sept 28th, 2007 and doesn't move on to Leo until May 9th, 2008. That's over six months! (During that time it actually slips back into Gemini for a little while.) The last time this happened was 1975-76.
This unusual transit of Mars means good news and bad news. The good news is a marvelous boost of energy for romance, love affairs, the arts, fun occasions, sports and vacations. Yay! Mars guarantees lots of fun activity and sexy romance. The bad news is Mars will trigger disputes and arguments with children, lovers and sports colleagues. The thing is Mars cranks up your sense of ambition and competitiveness. Depending on how you use this, it's good or bad. Nevertheless, parents will have to be patient with children. Remember Goethe's advice: "Correction does much but encouragement does more."

The New Year Begins
It's a new year and you're popular! What a wonderful, upbeat way to start things off. Accept all invitations. People want to see you and you want to see them. Get out and schmooze. Enjoy fun times with others. Attend conferences, conventions, meetings and events with clubs, groups and organizations. Share your dreams with your friends and acquaintances because their feedback will be helpful to you. A romance with a boss or someone older or more established than you is possible.
In February, your popularity continues, especially with artistic people; however, you need more time alone to regroup both physically and emotionally. Respect you need for this. Hide somewhere. (Hey -- you're the escape artist of the zodiac.) Chaotic activity at home due to moves or renovations is likely. Something's going on. Be patient with family members because people are touchy. "A soft answer turneth away wrath, but grievous words stir up anger."
March, of course, is your month, babes! It's your turn to trip the light fantastic. Expect good things. When the Sun is in your sign, it attracts people and opportunities to you. It's also the one time in the year when you really should put yourself first. No need to apologize or explain. Buy yourself some shoes. Sign up for a dance/exercise class. When you feel good about how you move, you feel good about life. It's important for you to stay positive. When your energy feels negative, you easily fall into victim mode. This is one of your strongest months of the year.
Spring is Sprung
Money, finances, and increased shopping are just some of the things that absorb your time now. You're thinking of creative ways to make money, or perhaps how to improve your job or get a better job. Recent recognition has increased your confidence. Plus you're feeling particularly playful now!
May is a busy month. You're running around doing everything for everyone. Short trips keep you busy. (He who hesitates is miles from the next exit.) It's a great time for reading, writing, studying and talking to people, especially siblings.
Entertain at home in June. Focus on redecorating or doing repairs. (Whaat? The plumber no longer makes house calls?) Family gatherings will please you. Domestic discussions and reunions are likely. Nevertheless, you're working hard plus telling everyone else what to do. (But you do it so nicely.)
Salad Days of Summer
Ta da! 'Tis time to play! This is the month for romance, love affairs, beach parties and BBQs. It's the perfect time to take a vacation. Playful activities with children are fun. Your creative vibes are hot!
August is still fun; however, you've decided to work hard to get better organized. (Why do bills travel twice the speed of cheques?) Fortunately, everyone is supportive to you now, especially coworkers. Discussions go well. The only downside is that relations with partners and close friends are tense and prone to flare-ups.
Back to School
Your focus is definitely on partnerships. Squabbles and disputes about shared property are likely; but the outcome will favour you. Gifts and goodies are coming your way. Your popularity with everyone continues to grow. You're feeling increasingly independent!
Although your sex drive is strong in October, some of this energy is siphoned off into squabbles with others about loans, mortgages, shared property and anything that is jointly held (including debt.) Not only that, no matter how young you are, you might feel world weary and old. (The secret of staying young as to live honestly, eat slowly, and lie about your age.)
Serious partnerships are tough now. Try to avoid being discouraged and frustrating, especially by something that could be ending now. Marriage is tough because you have to deal with feelings and lawyers. Things are changing rapidly, and your increased popularity with others will only benefit you. "Spare change?"
Pisces Luck for 2008
With the exception of some squabbles about shared property and debt, life will flow very easily for you this year. With little effort, you'll be able to do what you want to do and achieve your dreams. It's a wonderful year for growth in any area. (Oops, hopefully, you won't have to let out another pleat in your shower curtain.)
