Your Secret Past

In the mid 80s, you scrambled to establish a home for yourself. You had just finished a time of loosey-goosey transition and you needed stability. After working hard, you stepped out on stage around 1991-92. (Applause sign please.) However, although it was an empowering time for you, it was also super testing for friendships and serious partnerships. ("Dear John, It pains me to write this letter.")

By 1997, you set your sights on something, and you felt very pleased with yourself several years later (around 1999-2000.) Ah yes, nothing succeeds like success. You rode this wave with characteristic Leo style until 2003-04, when it became apparent you had to let go of much of what you had an established since 1991. That's why 2005 was such a turning point for you. On one hand, you let go of many things, and on the other hand, you have different rings. Actually, 2005 is when you began to enter a whole new world. ("What a difference a yeeear makes, 52 little weeeeks.")

Attack from Mars!

Mars rules war and aggression. It also rules our muscles, and how we assert ourselves in all our relationships. Mars takes about two years to orbit the planet so it stays in each sign for about seven weeks. But lo! Due to a celestial dustup, Mars entered Cancer on Sept 28th, 2007 and doesn't move on to Leo until May 9th, 2008. That's over six months! (During that time it actually slips back into Gemini for a little while.) The last time this happened was 1975-76.

Mars is lingering in one tricky part of your chart during its lengthy sojourn in Cancer, then back to Gemini, then back to Cancer again. It can definitely bring stress to some friendships. Similarly, it will also stress your relationships with clubs, groups, and organizations.

You might be suspicious that a secret enemy is working behind the scenes against your best interests. (Well, if you have a secret enemy, they're not putting money in your bank. Unless it's to make you look guilty for something.) Be careful, because this transit of Mars can make you feel vaguely irritable and uneasy. (You need a massage, or some Shiraz and havarti.)

When you meet people, intending to make a great impression on them, things could backfire. They might jump back from your aggression. (Moi?) That's because your effort to assert yourself is being undermined by old past behavior patterns. People who are put off by your actions won't come out and say so. But they might work behind the scenes against you - hence, they're your secret enemies. Get it?

Introduuuucing - 2008!!

The New Year Begins

You begin this year in all reasonable and very wise way. Primarily, you're prepared to work hard. You're keen on setting new intentions to have a productive, happy, healthy you. (Some sex would be nice.) But you're not approaching this in an unbalanced way, Ooh no. You're ready to party as well.

Romance, love affairs, the arts, show business and sports are all beautifully favoured. You intend to have a good time. Many of your planning vacations as you read these words. (And if you look like your passport photo -- you need one.)

February is always a time when you focus closely on relationships and partnerships. That's because the Sun is directly opposite your sign then. To cozy up to your friends and those who adore you, because problems with acquaintances and members of groups still exist. Make sure the posse is on your side.

Discussions with others are particularly intense in March. You're concerned with shared property, shared possessions, inheritances, wills, insurance matters, debt and taxes. You don't like having to deal with this stuff but there's no getting around it. Fortunately, conversations with partners and loved ones are quite cozy. People are affectionate and eager to talk. And so are you.

Spring is Sprung

You like April because April likes you. You're full of enthusiasm. You're eager for adventure. You want to learn more about practically anything. And you want to travel somewhere. Salad Days of Summer

Freeze That Frame

For various reasons, you're much more focused on home, family and domestic matters. Or real estate. You're talking to family more than usual. There might be some tension here. Your own home could be in chaos because of renovations or redecorating plans. Be extra patient with family members. Kids are slow to learn that life is a do-it-yourself project. Into Each Life Some Rain Must Fall

Recently, you've scrutinized the image you present to the world, your dress, personality and reputation. But now you're intent on discovering a value system that is meaningful to you. You're establishing your own guidelines and rules by which you will live. What do you really value? This doesn't just mean material things. It includes spiritual and moral values as well. Out of debt, out of danger.

Around 2010, an inheritance or benefit from others is likely. The following year you'll travel or make strides in publishing, the media, medicine or the law. ("My book is flying off the shelves!")
