The Year 2006

In 2006, Saturn is in Leo for the entire year for the first time since 1977. (Many will see a correlation.) This will give enduring form to creative expression! (The movie Star Wars, which opened in 1977 has become part of our culture's artistic icons.)

Saturn will encourage a concrete expression of theatre and the arts at both personal and civic levels. It will also encourage a stricter more traditional methodology in schools.

Jupiter's passage through Scorpio will alter how we deal with death. In the 50s, we built schools and playgrounds for the Baby Boomers. This year we will lay the groundwork to help them die with dignity and loving support. (Death will be a big business by 2013-14.)

In many ways, new opportunities will arise out of situations of loss. "May the Force be with you."

The Envelope Please...

Who has more panache and style than you? No one. You're sporty, dramatic, and bigger than life! You're confident, regal and in command. People love your warm vitality. (That winning smile!) With characteristic Leo pluck, you overcame losses in the mid 90s, and enjoyed accomplishment around the turn of the millennium. "Look Ma! No hands!" Your popularity increased in 2001, and even though you started to let go of things and say goodbye to places, people and possessions in 2003-04, your luck was still strong. In the last 18 months, either your financial scene improved or you started to treat yourself very nicely -- or both. (Ah yes, there's no time like the pleasant.)

Which brings us to 2006

This year stern Saturn is in Leo. This last occurred in 1975 to mid 1978. Saturn is a wakeup call. It demands that you give up what you have outgrown. Recently and now, you must let go of what is no longer relevant in your life. You've gone through closets and cupboards getting rid of what you don't want. Some have given up relationships and homes as well. This will continue! You're at a major turning point -- the beginning of a new 30-year cycle. No matter how extroverted you are, you'll pull in now. You have inner work to do. Sure you know a lot about life and the big world -- but what do you know about you? You're starting to lay a new foundation for the future. More than that, you're redefining who you are and how you relate to your world. One thing is certain: this year will be one of the happiest, most rewarding times at home and within your family. You'll enrich your domestic life both emotionally and practically. This year is also excellent for real estate investments. It's a great year to buy things for your home and to be generous to family and loved ones.
