Georgia Nicols' Taurus Forecast for 2004

"The supreme accomplishment is to blur the line between work and play."
Arnold Joseph Toynbee (1889 - 1975)

In 2003, Mars came closer to planet Earth than it's been for 60,000 years and then teamed up with explosive Uranus. This combo created explosions no one expected. (Uranus rules electricity, technology and all things unpredictable; while Mars rules fire and aggression.)

The good news is that this wild tension is over. 2004 will definitely be calmer. That's a relief for those of us who have an irresistible urge to go on living...

Happy New Year to you all!

Taurus 2004 Forecast

The Real You

For you, life is all about tangible beauty. In other words, you want beauty, but you want to touch it. Sure you love nature (you adore it!) but you need to own your own slice of it.

You wrote the book when it comes to creature comforts. You're a juicy sensualist: you like good food, good wine, good sex and a nice place to live.

You love the best of the best (cento per cento) and will go out of your way to get it. You don't do the Supermarket thing unless you're desperate. You prefer a bakery for your bread, specialty shops for your coffee, and that great little meat shop where you get the best bacon in town. You have discriminating tastes. But you're not a snob. You also know where to find the best truck stop apple pie. What can I say? You're a connoisseur.

Of course you love sex. You're the most tactile, sensuous sign in the zodiac. (One hasn't lived until they've slept with a Taurus.)

You want money in the bank to buy the home you need to feel secure - which you will fill with a loving family and beautiful antiques. That's about it. And you're willing to work very hard to get this.

Fortunately, because you're a financial wizard; you generally get what you want. Once your goal is clear, you work harder than anyone else to achieve it because practical security is vital to you. That's why Tauruses are carpenters, builders, and bankers, as well as gourmet chefs, and judges of wine, cigars, and food, not to mention collectors of fine pieces and antiquities.

Your sign makes the best parents because you know the first thing a child needs is three square meals a day, a bed, and a roof overhead. Basics first.

You're fair, diplomatic and affectionate. And major bonus: you not only love beautiful things, most of you are easy on the eyes as well. Gosh.

The Past and Present

Back in 1980-81, you dealt with serious family matters while you tried to figure out where to live. Increased responsibilities with children in the mid-80s, led to a spate of hard work. By 1989-90, you began to take your power. (You saw then that hope is the feeling you have that the feeling you have isn't permanent!)

Even though you got along with less in the early 90s when support vanished or diminished, you felt great about life in 1996-97. Some cherished dreams came true then.

However, you went through loss in the mid-90s. Many said goodbye to loved ones, jobs, residences and possessions. It wasn't easy. But in retrospect, it laid the groundwork for a turning point at the end of the decade.

In 1999, your life was a whole new ballgame! Since that time, you've been creating a new world for yourself. Many of you have expanded your homes -- physically or with the addition of relatives and family members. Families, family businesses and your real estate scene are also growing in a blessed way.

The Year 2004

This is a lucky year for you! You'll have at least one fun vacation. Sexy romance, entertainment, the arts, theater, and playful times with children offer loads of creative stimulation in 2004. And your creative powers are super pumped!

By autumn, your job starts to really pick up. This is important. Get ready for this and expect it. The biggest area of change and expansion will be all about how your creative abilities can earn money in a more exciting way. You'll either get a better job by the end of the year, (or early in 2005) or you will improve the job you have. (Would I kid you?)

This year children bring great joy and satisfaction. Ditto for scintillating romance and fun getaways. If you work in the arts, you've got the Golden Touch. All this leads to increased well-being, a healthier body and a more positive outlook on life. (Mom always liked you best.)

More about your future

There's an interesting timeline going on now. It began in 1999 and it will end in 2005. That's the window of time where you really turn your life around. In other words, what you're doing in 2005-06, will be so removed for what you did in 1998, you'll hardly recognize yourself or your world.

As part of this process, last year and this year offer opportunities for you to make a major job change or residential move. ("Opportunities" is putting it mildly. Think: kick in the pants.) Naturally, you'll give this serious thought. (You're never rash. You're sexy and fun but you're careful.)

Just ponder thy options.

Relationships and Romance

You require a great deal of affection. You need to be petted and hugged and stroked. You love intimacy. And you love those sexy movies where they use food in exotic ways. (Remember the scene where he fried an egg on her stomach?)

This year is one of the best times for romance you've had for over 12 years. (Be still my beating heart.) It's going to last for most of 2004. Don't waste this. Get out there and hustle thy beautiful buns! Singles can discover new, throbbing romance. Others can rekindle relationships that slid from French Fries to mashed potatoes.

You have fantastic opportunities to have a great sex life and to fall in love this year! Naturally, you can't expect perfection. The course of true anything does not run smooth.

Coping with Challenges in 2004

You're lookin' swell, kiddo. You've got fun, romance, vacations and parties plus improvements to your health and your job. What's to worry?

Well, there is one tiny glitch. Neptune continues to hover at the top of your chart clouding your sense of direction. This is confusing and disorienting. You feel unsure of where you're going and why. And do you have enough gas?

Some signs are "floaters". Not you. You like a predictable outcome. This is also a time in your life when others can easily deceive you. (Another Neptune thang.) Fortunately, now that Uranus is in Pisces (for the first time in 77 years) you will start to gain greater control over your life and make things work for you.

Your Mantra for 2004

If I remember to be joyful I'll have a happier life.
