In 2003, Mars came closer to planet Earth than it's been for 60,000 years and then teamed up with explosive Uranus. This combo created explosions no one expected. (Uranus rules electricity, technology and all things unpredictable; while Mars rules fire and aggression.)

The good news is that this wild tension is over. 2004 will definitely be calmer. That's a relief for those of us who have an irresistible urge to go on living...

The Real You

You're so bright and clever you hardly know what to do with yourself. You want to know a little about everything. You adore novel, fascinating facts about unusual places and different people. You read everything - books, newspapers, magazines, the back of matchbooks and all the ads on the roof of the bus. It's not that you're an information junkie, you're like Alice in Wonderland in a world that gets curiouser and curiouser. Witty repartee, multitasking and music turn your crank.

You're dexterous with your hands. (You talk slower when they're in your pocket.) You often have training involving the hands for e.g. playing or making musical instruments, dentistry, electronic technical work, printing or drilling those tiny, little holes in toothbrushes.

You can make love in several languages. That's because you're the wordsmith, the scribe (and you learn quickly when motivated.) Bad spellers of the world untie!

The Past and Present

The fabulous news is this: late 2004 and all of 2005 are the best times in over a decade to find your true love. Be intelligent about this. Be open to the fact that your soul mate might be the person who is with you right now. (Stranger things have happened.) After all, love and beauty are in the eye of the holder. (But an hour in makeup does wonders.)

New relationships and new ways of relating will trigger you to make changes down the road. In a few years, almost all of you will change jobs and have residential moves because hey -- a change is as good as a rest.

Coping with Challenges in 2004

Uranus has just moved into Pisces for the first time in your life. (The last time it was there was in the Roaring Twenties. It will stay there for seven years, and in this time (beginning now) your feelings of rebellion and independence will probably quadruple. You'll challenge anyone who tells you what to do. Relationships, especially with bosses and VIPs could become very explosive. (Ouch.)

Meanwhile, back in the bedroom, Pluto still opposes your sign intensifying close partnerships. This is a time of intense power struggles where everybody thinks they know best. You want to improve someone; someone wants to improve you. This doesn't work.

Geminis have a tendency to project outward looking for something to make them happy. (The right job, the right person, money, home, fame, success or a bilingual Budgie.) But logic dictates that if this were true, then people who have these things would be happy. And they're not.

Don't get suckered in with these projections of fantasy. If happiness is the ability to enjoy the scenery on a detour, it shows it's an inner state of mind that you carry with you. (Perhaps in a handy plaid tote.)

They say when one door closes, a window opens. (This doesn't work with elevators). That's why Jupiter is coming along now to crank up fun and romance late in 2004 and all of 2005.
